Hello,

So I am planning on going to do Epcot for one day as I get off a cruise ship, as my flight home isn't till late at night, so need advice. I can't purchase the ticket ahead of time cause you never know if there will be an issue getting of the ship, so I will need to buy the park tickets for my hubby and myself that day, what is the best way, should I just go to Epcot and purchase them at the main entrance, or should I use the app?.. and the app shows my old magic bands as still active, (have no clue where they are currently), do I just deactivate them? Just need to know if they give you a paper ticket or is it all on the app now. Last time I was at disney was 2016. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I just looked and am able to purchase a one day ticket on the app for today so that is possible. Or, you can purchase in person. Not sure if there is a cost difference.

An advantage to purchasing with app is you can purchase G+ if you chose to and book first LL at 7AM plus try to book GotG VQ if you wish.

No need to deactivate old bands. When you go through the gate, if you need a plastic ticket, just request one and they will issue on the spot. We prefer plastic tickets over scanning phone for LL, etc.
