Frozen has replaced both Tangled and Beauty and the Beast. Now they have Fastpass, that is available at the Hub towards Adventure Land.

Wow, I did not foresee the need for the fast pass! I guess they think it will be super popular. This is very good to know. Thanks for sharing!!

Wow, well I suppose the fast pass will help prevent having to line up for ages and the usual issue with one person standing in line then have several more join them at the last minute.

I know DL is capitalising on the popularity of Frozen at the moment (and maybe also because it is your winter) but I hope they bring back the B&B and Tangled shows as options also. They were great and it's nice to see something with the other princesses also.

I hadn't really thought about FPs for the show either, but in hindsight it makes sense. The line for Tangled and B&B tended to get long and the shows did fill up, so with the popularity of Frozen, I'm not surprised they wanted to figure out a better way to handle the crowds. Otherwise, you'd probably have guests lining up for the next show before the current show even starts!

I am curious...did A&E come out after the show to greet guests? Belle, Rapunzel, and Flynn often did...but I could see where it would be a mob if A&E showed up. Still, I'm curious!

I really like that they have fastpass for this. I hope the other shows will come back as well at some point.

I'm just wondering if the fast pass for Frozen show at Disneyland's Fantasy Faire is connected & makes you wait to get another fast pass??

**I read on another thread that the DCA Sing Along show (which also has a fastpass). Is connected--so you have to wait to get another fastpass.

Also have been reading about Anna/Elsa. & Olaf in DCA requires fast passes too. Does anyone know if these are connected also?:confused3

I like the idea of FP here. But with the announcement that Magic Bands are coming to DLR in 2016, it all makes me very nervous.

FP is great for this as long as it doesn't keep you from getting another. It's still not the end of the world if it makes you wait 2 hours...... but if they go to a full FP+ rollout and limit you to a certain number each day......... that makes me really nervous.

It's going to be interesting to see how many more places FP gets added over the next year. I'll lay money that when the new night parade premiers it will come with some sort of a reserved FP viewing area.

Good questions above. I'd like to know too.

And another question I have: Why does Hans look like a dirty, old, disheveled soap opera star? :crazy2:

I watched the show yesterday. I personally was not a fan of the show. The story telling seemed too slow at times, and then rushed at other times, and lots of not funny jokes. I'm miss the Tangled show.

I was still able to watch the show from just outside the theater right as it started, so you didn't need fastpasses per se if you were okay standing.

I am curious...did A&E come out after the show to greet guests? Belle, Rapunzel, and Flynn often did...but I could see where it would be a mob if A&E showed up. Still, I'm curious!

I hung around the area for 5 minutes and no one came out.

Olaf looked like Pagliacci, but I think that was intentional.

That's Mr. Jones or Mr. Smythe (can't remember which was which) pretending to be Hans. They're comic...so he's supposed to look a little off kilter. Try Googling Mother Gothel from Tangled when they were performing that show...you'll see that "she" (again, it was Mr. Smythe or Mr. Jones) also looked a little worse for wear.

I hung around the area for 5 minutes and no one came out.
Did the CMs clear everyone out of the theater when the show ended or did a lot of folks remain in the theater, hanging around? When I saw Tangled and B&B, the CMs wouldn't promise that the characters would come out (said it was a 50-50 chance), but a lot of folks hung out in the theater area, just waiting.

I was also thinking of that the new parade and fireworks for the 60th might be likely targets. Unless it's during the really busy times, I can't see them adding it to Aladdin or Mickey and Magical Map at this point. Playhouse Disney is a possibility. In some ways, I'd be okay if they stuck to the current (new) system; where you can get a FP for various shows, but only day or and only in the parks. Maybe this is something they are testing as a pre-cursor to FP+.

Edited to say, I was confused by the Fantasy Faire show and the Sing along Frozen show, sorry! I did not see the Fantasy Faire show.

The Frozen singalong show FP is not connected. Lots of people got one for the show, and then got in the Olaf line to get a beeper (also not connected). This is how it was last week, we were told this by a CM in the Olaf beeper line.

With the Olaf beeper, you do not HAVE to return right away. They said it would only signal while in the area, From ToT to Animation bldg, but that if you were in a show, or on a ride, or on a line somewhere, not to leave whatever you were doing, to rush back for Olaf. I think the beeper FP setup, is genius.

I thought the Sing along was ok, but not so many people were singing. :lovestruc It was fun, I thought the way they had one narrator interact with another was a little stiff, but I am not a child, not the intended audience. Kristoff was adorable and got lots of tween shrieks and call outs. I think overall guests would like more from the face characters, less clips, as there was lots of excitement when the characters popped out.

The theatre is nice. Enjoyed the sing along, the Olaf meet/greet, and watching SoCal kids freak out over the snow. (we are from a snow zone, so it was sweet and funny to watch the snow play and sledding)

sad face :(

I was really looking forward to seeing the Tangled show! I didn't realize they got rid of it to put Frozen in its place! Oh well what can ya do?
