NEW Disney Gift Card Deals and More

How likely is it there will be a deal this good (10% off straight up and stackable with cash back and other rewards programs, no stated or apparent limit) again next December?

5 - Very likely
4 - Somewhat likely
3 - Equally likely and unlikely
2 - Somewhat unlikely
1 - Very unlikely

What is your opinion?

 How fun!

This was the first time I've ever seen giftcards .com have a sale on DGC. I've been watching this site for a few years.
It's anyone guess if it will happen again. I never thought Costco would sell DGC but they did. Clever @misssue23 found that deal last year.

Guess that those of you who have more experience finding GC deals would then lean towards making hay while the sun shines.

They have never been listed to my knowledge but you have been able to use them for years. The thing that changed this year is not being able to apply them on a monthly basis. If you have enough you can pay them off with the gift cards and after they are paid you can prepay with the cards
Yes. They started to enforce the policy as written with this new change
Right now, gift cards are not officially in the policy. What if they start to enforce the policy as it is written - bank draft or CC only?
If I do get GCs for 2026 dues, I will most likely apply them immediately and prepay - but I am typically against prepaying anything. In this case, I will though.

I just don't get the shipping fee. Giftcards .com is owned & operated by Blackhawk Network who by the way also sells DGC (physical) at Kroger online and there's no shipping fees.

I would guess that kroger, 😂, or someone is picking up the fee. It may be part of their agreement for having gc in store as well. Hilton charges 1.95 for shipping when you buy a gc. Disney doesn't charge shipping on gift cards.

Being owned by Blackhawk also doesn't mean that gc.com has the same budget and funds to not charge shipping.

Read your most recent post. Have you prepaid your 2026 dues, by any chance?
While you can prepay I no longer do as one time I received a credit for taxes or something and it just sat there. Now I wait until the dues are posted and pay them just in case I would need the cards for dining, AP’s or anything else.

The CC or bank draft is only referring to auto pay with CC being auto paid yearly and bank draft monthly. There is no mention of them not accepting GC except on the monthly basis. The same is true with checks that can still be mailed but are not used for monthly payments.

This exercise of projecting Disney spending at least a year in advance so we can cover it with advance purchases of DGCs really highlights how much we actually spend there doesn’t it?!

But is there a mention of them accepting gift cards in the terms?

I know GC are mentioned in the instructions for paying 2025 dues with GCs. I didn’t see anything in the regular terms that popped up when paying dues that specifically say GCs are an acceptable form or payment when paying in full.

Anyway - I went ahead about bought my first $125 in GC from BJs today at approx a 13% savings. This will be the start of my 2026 dues fund.

Got my first batch of DGC from GC in the mail. 5x $500 cards and I'm immediately putting them against our 2025 dues. That was easy and great for 10% off!

And hat-tip to whoever recommended the CapOne extension trick. I added the extension yesterday and visited GC site without buying anything. Today I got the 10% enticement offer in my email. Went back in, Activated it in the extension, and ordered one last large batch of 10%-off cards with a 10% CapOne discount on top of it. Have mercy. I think I could hear my card crying every so faintly. Thankful that sale ends today so I'm not tempted again tomorrow.

I'm trying to buy gift cards from giftcards.com and getting my Chase credit card declined with this message:
The payment was declined. You can try again, use a different payment method like PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, check for a text or email message from your bank's fraud team, or contact your bank for support. Some credit cards do not allow

Anyone know what to do to get it to go through?

Check if Chase is sending you a message to confirm it's not fraud. My first purchase attempt this week did that error message but once I responded to a text from Chase that it was me doing it then the second attempt worked. GL.

I haven't gotten any messages. Going to be on a long hold to talk on the phone with them

No, but they were never in the terms to begin with

I had this problem this week. One I was trying to charge to my Chase United card and it just wouldn’t go through I have no idea why as I never got a fraud message and there was even a Chase offer for the website on that card. I just used a different card.

Ended up calling them and verifying myself and having it go through
