NEW Disney Gift Card Deals and More

Thank you all for the posts, I just did one round of purchasing the discounted gift cards to buy discounted DGCs and it was very straightforward (stacked with the chase portal and chase offer and CF PayPal) and will do it twice more. Renewing my AP soon so every $ counts! My first time using that website so now I feel comfortable using it more in the future!

Edit: I seemed to have reached the limit after using GIVEGC10 twice (2 $100 gift cards)

I got mine immediately, but I did get a fraud alert from my bank first. Once I took care of that, payment went through fine,
Bingo. I was doing $100 orders, which just got caught in limbo. When I did a $200 order, it immediately triggered a fraud message. Once I approved that, everything came through at once.

All in all, I have no idea how I did. I definitely made some ordering mistakes (didn't put the discount on my first $100 order, and then ended up with $10 left unapplied in the end that I'll need to sort later). But I ordered around $4000 DGC plus $200 in Uber Gift cards. Should be more than enough for this year's DVC dues plus trip spending money this year. I'll see if any Rakuten goes through and if any orders get cancelled, but hopefully it'll work out. Considering my mistakes, but also the stacked savings, I think it all evened out to around 10% off, so that's wonderful.

Talk to me like I'm a 4 year old...what's the most efficient quantity and denomination of GC GCs to buy and then what quantity and denomination of DGCs to buy with codes. It's late, I'm sleepy, I just caught up with this thread and not ready for the work week and don't want to make mistakes! Tell me what to do lol

Also the fine print on the Chase offer says ONE TIME ONLY. Does that mean I would need to buy $1000 in the Giftcard GCs to max it out? I read the poster above who had issues not sure I'd be willing to spend that much in one shot without knowing it would work. Perhaps I'll sleep on this and read more of the thread with fresher eyes.

Well, I just bought physical DGCs on giftcards.com. I did $1950 (7x250. + 2x 100) and used the code GCWEEK10 with using Rakuten for 2.5% cash back. My order posted with 10% off or $195 discount and hopefully the 2.5% cash back will post to Rakuten. Using my SW CC will also get me some points to use on airfare.

When you buy a bunch of gift cards from them, is it typically boxed? Or do they cram them all in an envelope?

I live in Canada and I use a mail forwarder for deals like this. But they will only forward parcels as usps advised them to stop forwarding letters.

If they parcel at a certain point, how many cards do I need to order to trigger the “we should put that in a box” threshold?

(I’m assuming they ship in envelopes?)
(Or do all gift cards come in a small parcel?)

So basically if I buy $1100 worth of physical gift cards and use my Chase card I will end up paying $950?

Does your Chase card have an offer for Giftcards.com? If so you would need to activate it.

My offer is for 5% back up to $50 back ($1k spend) on one purchase so I could not not make multiple purchases the offer will only apply once per card that you have activated it on.

If you are paying for tracking and you have the offer you would need to purchase 2 $500 cards and 1 card for $101.40.

That takes you to $1,000.01 ensuring you max out the 5% back offer from Chase.

Making your end of the day out of pocket $950.01. If you happen to have a freedom/freedom flex card with the offer you could potentially save more by using PayPal as it is one of the 5% categories for Quarter 4 of 2024.

This is just buying the DGC straight out and not buying a giftcards.com card.

This is also not factoring any portals.

How long did it take y'all to receive your Giftcards.com egiftcards? I've made several purchases, and all are still in status "On Hold." Not sure how to move things along to make my DGC purchases.
Does not allow me to buy DGCs with the giftcards, com cards, at least not with the 10% off. I just spent $1080 for gift cards that I have no use for. I’m assuming I can use them to buy DGCs without the discount, so now instead of spending 8.95 for shipping all the DGCs I could’ve bought using just my credit card, I now need to spend $23.88 for shipping, not to mention the hours I just spent trying to get all this worked out. If I bought outright with my credit card, $1,200 in DGCs would’ve cost $1,088.95 after shipping. Buying the gift cardscards.com first cost me $1,103.88, plus a ton of effort. Basically I just paid about $15 to spend three hours fighting with a website. Total waste of time and money, don’t do it.
Thank you for sharing your experience. It will definitely help me and others avoid the same trap. Sorry you had to go through it though!

How often does giftcards.com run this promo? This is the best deal I've seen for DGC in a while, but not sure my credit card can handle another big purchase. Credit rating already gone down 30 points this month!!!

I just purchased a 3 separate $100 giftcards.com GC for $270 (went thru Rakuten also). Did it in one transaction.

Can only apply 1 giftcards.com GC to each order so when I went to buy the DGC I had to do 3 orders. I bought 3 separate $108 DGC using each of the $100 from above, plus $1.99 shipping. Ended up with a balance of 81 cents left on each card. Also went thru Rakuten.

So all in all $324 DGC for $270. That's a savings of 16% plus possibly Rakuten double dipped at 2.5%

There may have been an easier way but that's just what I went with to avoid some previously mentioned issues.
Why would you not want to put 109 on each card and pay 0.09 from another CC to use up all the GC GC?

Did you deduct the amount of money for shipping? That was important as that happened to me for the first batch
No. I spoke to someone at their customer service. There was quite a bit of a language barrier, so it made things even more complicated. I was able to have them return the giftcards.com cards that I bought. To answer another users question about what happened, I have no idea and neither did the person I spoke to. I would go through the whole purchase process, it would say “Congratulations….,” and the screen would refresh and say that they can’t process my order. At this point I’ve had enough and I’ve wasted too much time. I’m just glad to get a refund. I’ll try buying DGCs from them with the 10% off using my credit card. If that doesn’t work, I’m going to Target.
of discounted cards back a few months ago. I tried to buy 100 dollar gift card with 100 dollar giftcards.com card and then pay shipping using credit and it immediately cancelled. I had to get a refund for the original 300 I was able to buy. However, this 10% off Promo worked fine for me and i was able to buy 3 500 dollar gift cards for 1356 and get 3% cashback from Swagbucks (which has already tacked since my purchase last night).

It limited me to 3 in an order. It’s letting me put 3 more in my cart after that first order, but I’m afraid it’ll get cancelled. Anybody do more than 1 order? I have an Amex spend $250 get back $25 (can be split orders). A second order would put me over, but if it gets cancelled it might mess with that offer.
Attempting. (Don’t really have anything to lose if cancelled.) Will report back.

BB worked for me for a second order of 3 @marsh0013
I was also able to do two orders of three DGC's. Tried to do a third order and it told me I met my limit.
