My Disney Experience app

Can anyone explain how to add others to My Disney Experience app. I am traveling with friends and want to be able to schedule LL all together. Having trouble with adding the children in their group! What am I missing???

I ended up having to call MDE tech services to add people that were managed by someone else. It appears from the FAQ that once you add the adults you should be able to select ""Add a Guest" at the bottom of your My Family and Friends List followed my selecting "Find Through My Connected Guests". I was never able to get this to work; my sister was managing the 8 other people in her party. Tech services did get it sorted out.

You invite them in family and friends and then the other person has to go to their email and confirm that you can plan with them and those that they manage.

Does anyone know if I can buy Individual Lightning Lanes for my parents who are on a separate reservation/MDE account ? We're linked and I can see them in friends and family. I just don't want 7 AM to roll around and have a delay booking Rise for all 6 of us. My family of 4 intend to buy Genie + then book Mickey & Rise for all 6 of us at evening times when my parents will join us. I'm the one tasked with the 7 AM scramble to do all of this and wondered if anyone else has issues or success with this ? Thanks !

Hijacking...does everyone need to be added to MDE OR have their own app? I mean, if I buy the tickets for others in my group and make their park reservations on-line, can I just hand them the ticket and they can enter the park and use standby?
I am going with newbies. They will not want to download an app to "go on a ride". And, I don't want to add them to my MDE and manage them.
