Most accurate crowd calendar for Disneyland

We are going to be in Anaheim from August 29-Sept 5. I am trying to decide on the best days to visit Disney. Touringplans.com has the weekdays at about a 2 for that week. That seems really low, especially since some others have it at about a 5. Does anyone have any experience with the week leading up to labor day? Can I trust touringplans? Thanks for any help.

One problem with crowd predictors is that they rely on past years' data. First, holidays and events shift year to year. Second, Disney changes promotions which may spike crowds or shift them. Even data from 2-3 years ago becomes less of a predictor very quickly now, but I'd be willing to be that those crowd calendars look back even farther.

I have found Touringplans to be very accurate. They use a lot of data to predict what's coming and they've been pretty darn close on our last 3 trips.

It could also be that other sites use a slightly different scale - I would see if they have actual predicted wait times for individual rides and see how those stack up. They might be closer to each other than you think.

Hi! Plans just changed and i'll be there then too! Sunday Aug 30- Sept 2 in the parks! Cant wait for the hopefully low crowds!

I've always found Touring Plans.com to be very accurate for WDW. This is my first trip to DL and for our days in the parks (9/14 &9/15) it is also showing 2 & 3. I am hoping that holds true. But I have also heard that Touring Plans can be less accurate for DL since their core business is WDW. Still keeping my fingers crossed that we have really low crowds which means as little time as possible spent standing in line! Please let us know how your trip goes & how it compares crowd wise to what Touring Plans estimated. & Have fun!

I've been using touring plans since 2007. Typically there are +/- 1 with their predictions at worst, usually right on the money. The few times i have emailed them with questions, they responded promptly with really good information clarifying their predictions.
