Which ride of these two roller coasters is the more intense ride? For reference, I love Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, I don't mind the backwards but I don't love it, and I love TRON. I don't love Rock 'n' Roller Coaster. Which ride is more intense Expedition Everest or Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind?

It's honestly like comparing an apple to a dragonfruit, they're both fruit.

Everest is one of my favorite traditional coasters and its intensity comes from the rises and drops of a traditional coaster. Guardians is the smoooooooooooooothest coaster I have ever been on and to me its intensity is in the launch and the length (it's a long ride). But the intensity of both rides are different, so I don't know if there's one I'd consider more intense.

Guardians is more intense, but it's also smoother so it doesn't really feel like it's more intense. It's also mostly in the dark like space mountain, so that aspect adds to the "intensity" a bit.

I find Everest a bit more intense. Guardians is the best coaster at WDW in my opinion but because of the (controlled) spinning cars it moves sideways quite a bit. I really enjoy this but I know that some people react badly to this and quite a few people stumble when exiting the ride. So if you cannot handle spinning or sideways movement, Guardians feels more intense.

Everest is more intense to me. It's also the closest to RNRC to me as it's just a straight-up, old-school roller coaster. The smoothness of GOTG and it's totally different design from a traditional roller coaster gets rid of a lot of the intensity for me and even the dark portions aren't blackout-dark like some points on Everest.

Guardians is technically more intense, but I am able to handle it way better than Everest. If you don't like the backwards part on Guardians, you'll hate the one on Everest. The rest of the ride isn't too bad.

I agree with @sponica on this one, very hard to compare because they are exceptionally different experiences.

I love both, Guardians is now my favourite coaster ever but EE is exceptionally fun as well.

I will say that Crazy Cat Boy gets motion sickness and Guardians (while he loved it) did make him queasy, while EE didn't.

HTH

The backwards part of Everest is intense. What sometimes gets to me on Guardians is the spinning.

I can't compare these 2 as they're both a different type of intense. They both have backwards portions and are coasters but that's about all they have in common
