Thanks for sharing the pics, I think it looks nice. It reminds me of the airport lounges which I always appreciate. We might check it out the next time the family is down.

Am I the only one who thinks it looks like they took a bunch of unused furniture from other areas and placed it in different groupings? Eclectic is one thing but this strikes me as thrift shop fire sale decorating.

Glad it's open! We go a lot just for cool drink, rest, and to recharge phones. Hope they kept the same amt or added more charger ports. I don't see any big changes , looks a lot like the last time we went. Don't see coffee/tea options, and that's ok. Kids area looks a little different. Hope they add DVC lounges at every park!

Mostly we go for the cold drink, but now that you mention it. During winter, coffee or hot cocoa might be welcomed. I'm a little concern about the baskets of snacks. I can see lots of people grab one heading in, grab one heading out, that basket will need to be replenished every 10 mins.

Is it just me or does the lounge look exactly like it did before they shut down for this refurb? maybe the paint is different? but I'm not sure that is the case either. the new furniture was definitely there....

My kids said yesterday when we were in there ‘so it looks basically the same’

No. There is one to the right of the entrance of Figment.

No bathrooms in the Epcot lounge. That one opened in 2016 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of DVC, and it was supposed to be open that year only. So I guess they didn’t think the lack of bathrooms would be an issue for what was intended to be such a short time. It was extended a year at a time for several years, and I can’t remember when it became an ongoing thing.

The DVC lounge at Disneyland came many years later, and obviously they were very conscious of the complaints about the Epcot lounge because they included bathrooms! I hope the new one in MK will have bathrooms too, so we don’t have to exit and go around the corner!

This is interesting but I don’t see us using it after 6pm, to me this is a mid day break, so im good with this benefit being added for those that want to buy it, but I don’t feel like im missing out on anything and this doesn’t compel me to purchase it.

Cool…maybe we will get some other MMB info this week…like price of 5 day pass and how he AP trade will work!

But, the nice thing a out extended hours is that maybe those who have it will go then instead of always during the regular one.

At least now that this is adding to access and not just replacing it.

Interesting, they’ll be shifting the normal hours up by an hour, too. Wonder what the hour gap between normal hours and extended hours is meant for.

My guess is to give those not eligible for MMB who enter the lounge before it closes time to be gone before they start letting the others up.

In the past they closed the lounge promptly at 6 and would kick everyone out then. I was there once and one of the cast members was actually counting down the seconds until 6pm.

That was what I meant….when it closes at 5 pm, they will make everyone leave and then once owners with MMB arrive, they won’t need to wait until it’s cleared since they gave themselves an hour…and, my guess is that it will be the extended hours that the character meet and greets happen.

This is a piece of good news for me - allays one of my fears about the lounge in general - that they might block off normal access hours for 'special' character interaction events and such for the MMB folks. At least now, the lounge hours remain very similar to what they were before. I still wonder how access will be during normal hours with the MMB priority access - only time will tell on that front. Hopefully the other member lounges will function similarly, maintaining normal hours and adding extra hours for MMB only.
