March Trip Questions

I read through the pinned planning thread. Thank you! It was so helpful.

We will be in Paris for 5 days- mid March. Staying near the Eiffel Tower. We want to do 1 Disneyland day.

I didn’t see the Disney shuttle mentioned. Is this a good option? Or is a car service better?

I also only saw Disney Premier Access on the website- no per ride option. Am I missing it? Since we only have one day should we just go ahead and book the Premier?

Which shows are truly worth paying? Or necessary to pay for?

Thank you for any and all help.

Mid March is a good time, as the schools return after the Spring break the week before.
As you have 1 day, paying for extra options might be worth it, also because you stay off site. If it will be necessary might only be determined in hindsight. You can book premier access per ride on the day off. I would advise this as you never know where the crowds. Phantom manor's line moves fast and is never really busy (unless at Christmas) And is every ride suitable for your party? If you have only adults, do you want to pay for Autopia? Or with small children, do you want to pay for the roller coasters.

With one day you do not have a lot of time. I would only pay for the Lion King in your situation. Do not pay for the parade. Do not pay for the evening show (unless you do not like crowds). The thing with the evening show is, it relies heavily on the drones. There are not a lot of fireworks. And if the weather is rainy or windy, the drones get cancelled. It is still a nice show, but less impressive. And to pay about €19-24 a person for a scaled down show... That's a thing (in my opinion).

Thank you so much. That sounds perfect.

We are 3 adults who have been to WDW many times. One battles motion sickness and vertigo so he’ll be out on anything thrilling.

Buying per ride/day of/ as necessary definitely sounds best.

We are big fans of The Lion King WDW so we’ll buy that.

Two of us have been to Paris a couple of times before so that is honestly the only reason we agreed to a Disney day. The third has never been to Paris and really wants a Disney day. The trip is to celebrate his 40th so we’re doing it.

Any opinions on easiest Paris to Disney transfer?
Ease is more important than cost to us.

Easy is subjective 😉 I am used to it, I find the subway the easiest. Car services give me stress, because I never know for sure if the driver will show up, will show up on time and can find me. With a train, I am constantly informed about delays and where to go to catch the train. That makes it easier or more comfortable to me. Also, as there is only one train on a track at a time, I do not get annoyed with other drivers, what I do have in a car 😉

Timewise, it doesn't make much of a difference. Car might be faster, but as traffic in the city center of Paris can be insane, you can lose time there.
