22 more days for the 9 of us flying in 3/19- 26. Taking grandkids 15/10/9/8/7 for a split stay at Desert Inn & VDH (dvc)

I believe the last time they had 90s Nite was March 2019 and the most similar event since is either 80s Nite in January 2020 or Disney Channel Nite last year.

I went to 90s Nite in 2019 and the vibes were fun but special food was just okay and all photo ops and character meets had insane lines. There was a special fireworks show but I know that isn't included anymore. There was a DJ in the hub who played awesome music all night.

I also went to Disney Channel Nite last year, the entertainment was good (cavalcade and a performance by Rivers of America) and photo op/character lines moved pretty quickly. Food was also just fine for this, too. We were lucky and weather was fine for both events, just a bit cold.

We are hoping it’s fun! I’m just now realizing there are only 2 of them so makes sense why there’s not a dedicated thread or group for it like sweethearts and Star Wars nites.

Yes, there are a couple of cavalcades each day. Today they are listed on the app at 1:45 pm and 2:45 pm. The first one starts near Small World and ends at Town Square. The second goes in the reverse direction.

Additionally, around 12:15 pm, they close access to the castle via the drawbridge. The Disneyland band marches through the castle and plays at the entrance.



After 3-4 minutes, they are joined by Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Chip & Dale. It is a great picture if you are in front. If not, it is difficult to see over others in front of you.



Mickey & Minnie lead the band down Main Street with Goofy, Pluto, Chip & Dale following. When they get to the front of the train station, they stop and perform for guests. This photo is from October so they were in Halloween costumes. It was taken at 12:30 pm. Most people don't plan for this little parade so seating is easy to find. If you find a seat across from the train station around 12:15, I think you'll have a great view of the performance around 12:30.



The cavalcade follows the parade route (red line in map below). The band and characters follow the teal line in the map below.

so detailed thank you so much! we head there tomorrow so hoping to catch it one of the days, i hadnt been able to find on the app so thanks for the info!!
