Mangino's - Shades of Green

[CHIPSTER]

Has anyone tried this restaurant yet? The menu sounds good as do the prices. I have relatives staying there and we were going to try it for dinner.

I ate at this restaurant for a character breakfast in 1981, when it was still the Golf Resort. I'm sure its changed quite a bit. The food was pretty bad back then.

I'm confused, I thought this was a new resturant that just opened at SOG??

it's wonderful. my dad is retired from the army and took a lil visit to sog while down in o-town for business. he wasn't expecting too much considering we're a gf/narcoosee's crowd. however he was blown away by the food, presentation and service. he already made reservations for the fam when we all go down in july!

I have stayed at SOG many times over the years and Mangino's was never at SOG.

Mangino's is the new upscale Tuscan restaurant at SoG. When the renovation was done- it was in the plans.

It sounds like it is a hit, too!!

Thanks for the post wdarling - glad to hear you liked it. The menu did sound very good to me and I thought the prices were more than reasonable. Think I just may try it this December. My sister and husband will be staying at SOG and I know we will be going over there just to check out their room.

At the moment, Mangino's is only open for dinner.

We just got back from WDW, but with the Funai Classic clogging SoG up- we made due with the Food & Wine Festival at Epcot (sigh).....

Were eating there this week when we check in. My co-worker said it was really good food at reasonable prices.

We were at the SOG this past August and decided ti try this restaurant and it we wonderful. The service, presentation and the food was excellent. We have been to ALL the nice restaurants in DWD and I would say Mangino's is a great addition. I would call it the best Italian restaurant on site. Enjoy!!
