Maclaren Quest vs. Maclaren Techno XT

We have both a Quest and Techno.
They both recline but Techno reclines further
The Techno seems to be more stable when you have bags or cup holder hanging on it and kiddos are not riding the quest tips over right away.
Quest is shorter as far as the handles for pushing. The seat is a little more roomy in the Techno.
Overall I prefer our Techno

Thanks so much! We currently have a 6 year old Quest and I have LOVED it. However I don't think it will last another 6 years so I was in the market for a new stroller for the new baby once he/she gets here. I had planned to try and watch for another Quest and just replace it with the same model. But I was tuned into a really good deal and was able to get a new Techno XT for $207 so I went ahead and did it....hoping it wasn't a mistake. From the sounds of it it ended up being a good move on my part :)

Unless I'm mistaken, you can "snap" a car seat into the Techno, which can't be done with the Quest.

The Techno can be used with a newborn since it reclines further. The handles on the Techno can adjust up and down also.

I bought a Quest because I got an unbelievable deal on it ($90), but I would have rather had the Techno since it can be used with a newborn. The Quest we have recommends waiting until the baby is 3 months old since it doesn't recline as far.

The Maclaren website actually has a nice comparison chart for the various strollers.

The Techno XT doesn't take a car seat. They make another Techno model (XLT??) that takes one but it is even heavier. I have an XT, I love it but it is heavy and I wish I got the Quest. Last few years I used a Volo since it weighs less. My advice- use a stroller frame for the first few months with a car seat and after 3 months babies can use the Quest. My DD was a November birthday so she was always bundled up in the carseat anyways for a few months!
