I have alot of credit cards to charge our upcoming WDW vacation to including Disney rewards Chase Visa, which I have had for many years. I do not pay an annual fee on this card. Our upcoming trip is going to cost almost $8K. I called today because I thought the Chase disney card gave more then 1:1 but they said they do not. I could of sworn in the past it was 4 pts. per dollar spent. Maybe it changed? She said it's 1:1 now. Any good credit cards that give decent reward money for travel expenses? I booked directly online thru wdw travel.

The Premier card (with the fee) gives you 2% back. The regular Disney Visa is 1%. Not very good, there are many cards out there that offer way better rewards. I keep it in case they have Disney hotel discounts for card members or sometimes free shipping on ShopDisney. For the most part, you are better off finding a card with a better percentage back as a cash back reward, instead of Disney rewards. You'll usually do better. There are websites you can visit to find out what credit cards may be better suited to your spending habits.

got any credit union connections? there's a product called 'the premier rewards world mastercard', costs $49 per year but waived first year. get 15000 in points ($150) for charging $1500 in first 90 days (bonus on top of regular points). all travel (airline/hotel/car rental) is at 3 points per dollar, you pick categories for 2 points so you could pick restaurants/eating out, auto collision damage waiver, $1 million in travel insurance, trip delay coverage, general trip insurance and LOTS more.

Chase Freedom Unlimited gives 1.5% cash back and the Wells Fargo Active Cash Card gives 2% cash back, I believe.

I do know, that from previous experience, if you use your Disney Visa and charge a package with WDW, you have 6 months at 0% interest to pay off the package. Not sure if this is necessary for you or not, just something to think about!

Good Luck!

As mentioned above, the premier card is 2% while the regular card is 1%. It's possible in the past you were able to take advantage of a special offer that gave you 4%.

What card to use... if you want to spread out the payments, I'd use the Disney Visa with the 0% financing offer (assuming you booked a package). If you'll pay it off within 1 cycle, go with whichever of your cards has the best rewards.
