LLMP for Dummies....or just me...

I have used LLMP (or whatever it was called) on the very first day it was offered so things have changed a bit. I understand the basic idea (only 3 at a time, you can book 7 days in advance...) but I have a few dumb questions.

1) When I buy the LLMP at the 7-day mark, can I book LL for multiple parks in one day at the 7 day mark? For example, we have a park reservation (military tickets) for MK and plan to do that for a few hours in the morning before hopping over to Epcot. Can I book 2 LL's at MK and then 1 for the evening at Epcot?

2) Is the LLMP good for park hopping? The prices are still listed by park and there used to be an "all parks" option which was priced the same as the MK-only option.

3) What is the "window" for booking additional LL's? Is it as soon as the window for the first one opens and/or when the first one is used? As I understand it, you can have 3 LL's booked at any given time and it's on a rolling basis.
3.1) Once you have used a Tier 1 option, can you book another one, based on availability?
3.2) If the previous answer is "yes", does this also apply to park hopping?

Any advice is appreciated. FWIW, we are two 50-year-olds and we plan to "casually" explore the parks. We go every year and typically avoid the "roller coasters". We don't mind waiting in lines, but we also want to experience the attractions and still leave time to rest on our vacation.

In brief..... 1) you can only purchase and use LLMP in one park. Your first 3 attractions are scheduled in park 1, although once you use your first attraction, you can modify the other 2 at that time for another park. Also, once you use your first attraction, you can book another, any tier and any park, if you have a hopper. 2) Yes, see #1! 3) LL are on a rolling basis - you can book another as soon as you tap into your scheduled attraction queue (hope that makes sense)..... I think I answered your other "#3" questions above - but you don't have to use a Tier 1 to open booking for all tiers and parks - once you use the first scheduled attraction, you can book whatever is available at that time. Hope that helps a little!

If the park you are hopping to was more expensive than the first one- how do they charge the difference?

No, they charge you for the privilege of booking in advance at the initial park. Since after your first 3 LLs, it's all day-of booking, so no additional charges. It's not the same as Genie+ was....!

I'm going to add on to this thread, really surprised there isn't a LLMP sticky. I have tickets that require a park reservation. If I have a reservation for Epcot and do a VQ at 7 AM and a LLSP for Guardians, can I also buy LLMP for HS that day? Going during March busy time so would like to have some rides at HS booked while also getting the Guardians rides. I think I need to have the Epcot ressie to do the VQ at 7 AM.

Yes you will need a park reservation for Epcot. You can also purchase your LLMP with up to 3 attractions at HS and you are also able to purchase a second LLSP at HS.

Thank you Dave for the quick response!

Why did I just find this thread? I desperately need "LLMP for Dummies" too. I gather you can pre-register for 3 attractions at 7 days out from the first day of your first stay (I'm doing a split stay and using LLMP on the 3rd day of the second resort). I'm planning to go to 2 parks that day, and plan to pay the first park's price (it's more expensive, but..) Once I tap into the first attraction, can I book in the second park? And the big question is, at that time, can I book 1 attraction or all 3 in the second park? Or is the rule that I can hold 3 LLMP reservations at a time, regardless of the park? So after every time I tap into an attraction, I can reserve another.
And the last question is what time do I start all this on whatever day? I'm in the Central Time Zone, but just please, include the time zone in your reply. Thanks.

correct

It's on a rolling basis, max of 3 LLMP reservations regardless of which park. So use one book another.

7:00am Eastern Time (so I think that makes it 6am Central)

correct

Just to add another particular: You can book LLMPs and LLSPs only on your phone app.

You cannot book these on the MDE site on your computer, although after they're booked you'll be able to see them there.

Thanks for answering all my questions. I think I'm all set to hit the phone at 6:00 am that morning. I arrive at WDW on January 18, so I think January 11th is the morning to set my alarm for 5:55 am.
