Lightning Lane reservations/change of plans?

I probably missed it, but couldnt find the answer.

Normally if when you buy a 4 or 5 day theme park pass, you can use those days across a range of around 2 weeks. You can choose any day you want to go. In the past with LL and Genie+, you would just buy the morning of before hitting the actual parks.

There were situations in the past, something came up (too tired, bad weather, etc...) where plans change and we would choose to go to the park another day, and because you dont buy LL and G+ until the morning of, there's no harm or foul.


Now that you're buying Lightning Lane up to 7 days in advance, what happens if you choose not to go the park on the day you booked your LL? Are you out of luck? Can you transfer your LL to another day?

Yes you are able to modify/change the park for your LLMP and/or LLSP (attraction). You only need to pay any price difference if the park you change to is priced higher than your initial park selection or LLSP attraction price.

Just a reminder that your alternate selections may be quite limited on day of for modifications.

Are you staying onsite or offsite? If you are staying offsite, you’ll want to know that a 5 day ticket is only good for 8 days (e.g. Sat to Sat, so you’ve got 8 calendar days to use your 5 day ticket, not 2 weeks.)
