According to MapQuest, the distance in miles is about 264. This past October, we drove from Phx to Vegas, from Vegas to Anaheim, the then home to Phx. The drive from Vegas to Anaheim was about 4 hours. There's a big outlet mall we stopped at on the way (can't remember the name of the town in California), which really broke up the ride.
Even with the bad weather we encountered, the ride went fast.
<font color=navy>The drive from LV to DL runs between 4-5 hours normally. On a Sunday, though, expect about an 8 hour drive to Los Angeles due to a lot of So Californians returning from a weekend of fun.

We're flying from Vegas to LAX, Southwest had an internet special of $30 one way. We're then flying home from LAX. Check out their website www.southwest.com.

We plan to leave Vegas by 8:00 a.m. on Sunday. Can we expect that 8 hour trip that you describe, or do more Californians leave for home later than that?
Thanks!
