*June 2025 Check-in Thread*

Hello!! We will be going June 22nd-June 27th. It will be myself, my husband, daughter and her boyfriend. We will be staying at the Element. We are very excited for the 70th anniversary celebration! 🎉

Can’t wait to hear everyone’s plans!!
Welcome! I'm excited for the 70th too! I'm a bit bummed that the Walt animatronic won't be ready until the official anniversary in July, but at least it gives me a reason to go again soon (lol like I really needed one). Oh and I hear the Element is super nice and has a great breakfast. Hope you have a wonderful trip!

Okay so in addition to Blue Bayou we are also hoping to do the dessert party for the new Star Wars projection show, Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga (links below). The dessert party isn't available yet, but sounds like it may be in the works.

I have a bit less than 2 weeks until my dining window opens...fingers crossed I can get my favorite 11am Blue Bayou slot!

We'll be there June 14-20. Group of 3, me, wife and 13 yo son. This will be our first trip to Disneyland! So excited!

We're looking forward to going to Pride Night! Now we're just waiting for them to release the tickets!! I've been stalking the Disney website multiple times a day since yesterday. Last year they were released on Tuesday, April 9th, hence, checking since yesterday! 66 days to go! Oh, and we get to go see the Indiana Fever play in 23 days to break up the waiting! #22 forever!! :D

I was also hoping for the tickets as well, maybe sometime this week. I’m still waiting for Universal Hollywood to announce their summer event to decide if I make my trip an extra day and fly out in the evening or just fly out early afternoon. I know what I want to do but if they announce, it’ll give me ammo to push my friend towards an evening flight. The California parks don’t make it easy for those of us that have to travel in and plan far out! Too last minute. EDIT: looks like we have a date! April 17!
Save the Date! Starting April 16, 2025, Magic Key holders will have the opportunity to purchase from a select amount of pre-sale tickets ahead of the general public.

General admission tickets go on sale April 17, 2025 (no earlier than 9:00 AM Pacific Time). Tickets are $169 per Guest (ages 3+).

I’m in for June 13-17 back at my usual Alamo. Since last year I was wishy washy on Pride and ended up going, I’m committing early so I don’t have to try to get last minute tickets at the park. I can’t believe how quick it’s coming up! This year is flying right by.

I’m super psyched for Paint the Night. I was there for the 60th and came back when it made its return at DCA so I’m super psyched to see it again. It really doesn’t feel real! I’m a big Wondrous Journeys fan so I won’t pass up the chance to see that too and I’m sure World of Color will be great.

I'll have to wait til 4/17, but they're on their way!!!! We're hoping to go on the 18th for Pride Night! Since I've never been to DL at all, we're excited for ALL OF IT!!! :rainbow:

Welcome new folks!

Pride Night sounds like so much fun! Unfortunately DH's birthday is on 6/18 and he has dining (and Trader Sam's 🤣) plans that would eat up too much of the night. I hope everyone that wants to attend can get tickets! 🤞

This week I booked Minnie’s Breakfast at the Plaza Inn for the morning of my daughter’s second birthday!! 😍 So, so excited!

I know a lot of you are going later in June, but has anyone else reserved any dining yet?

That will be so fun! I booked it for my 59th birthday! 🥳🤣

I've been booking dining all week, and did our last park day this morning. It's exhausting but worth it!

DD20, DS23, and I will be taking our first ever DLR trip June 27-July 2! We are staying at GCH.
We are WDW vets and cannot wait to see DLR!
I have been researching all of the differences between the two and even the planning is so different! Having to make dining reservations each day, instead of for the length of the trip, is a bit of a pain. We are in NY - so 6am Pacific is 9am here - great for most but it means I will be at work and need to take a bathroom break everyday at 9:00! Do any open up at midnight Pacific? When I chatted with a DLR person on the website, they said there is no specific time reservations are released each day! Really?! Will be trying for BB and for the River Belle Terrace Premium Dining Package for Fantasmic! Any advice would be appreciated!

Blue Bayou will open at 6 am PST.
River Belle Premium will open at 6 am PST and be gone by 6:01 am PST (or close to that)

My recommendation would be to book Cafe Orleans for Fantasmic dining if you dont get RBT premium.

Yay, so exciting!! I hope you have a wonderful time!

If it helps, I think MOST dining is much easier to get on this coast (with the exception of special packages and Trader Sam’s). I saw tons of times available for almost everything at 6am when I booked our 2 character meals for June.

When we go to WDW, I have to get up at 3am…. 🤪 but at least it’s only once instead of multiple days!

Trader Sam's opened like midnight PT or 3am ET when we booked last year. We are early risers so it was a nice surprise to have it booked before breakfast.

Yes, I think Trader Sam's is the exception I've heard, and that it can open anywhere from midnight PT to 3am or so. It seems sporadic, or at least I haven't heard of a definitive pattern. Everything else should be 6am PST

Thank you everyone for the info and advice! 😊❤️
I considered Trader Sam's, as both of my children are bartending their way through college. (Yep, DD20 can make and serve, but not taste!) I saw that they have Mixology classes, but they seem rare and extremely pricey.
If you snag a reservation, does it guarantee you seating inside? I don't think it would be worth it otherwise.
