From what I understand, this is your average theme park with rides, right?

I'm wondering if there will be alot that my 6 year old and 4 (almost 5) year old will be able to do. My 4 y.o. is 42" if that helps. Basically wondering if it's geared twords older kids or not.

Thanks!!!

Almost all of the roller coasters are out for under 48" kids. There are 2 that the 4yo can ride: the kiddie coaster and Sierra Sidewinder (a pretty intense spinning roller coaster). There's also a new roller coaster called the Coast Rider that's really similar to Goofy's Sky School at DCA...you have to be 44" for that one.

But Knotts is so much more than roller coasters. The Log Ride just got remodeled and looks very sharp (arguably the star attraction at the park now). There are a couple of other Train rides in the Ghost Town section that are fun for the whole family.

The Camp Snoopy kiddie section is very extensive and has over a dozen attractions for kids. Knotts also has a handful of decent shows, including a fun ice skating show that everyone can enjoy.

Thanks so much sounds like we may just skip this one then.

Really appreciate you answering :)

Have to chime in here-Camp Snoopy is awesome for kids! We spent many great days there when my DD13 was younger and now we take my Dnephew 4.5 and he loves it! There are so many rides for the kids.

Were you thinking of doing it when you go to DLR in 3 months? If so, that's the perfect time to do KBF. No crowds, literally. You'll have the place to yourself. There have been times, off season, when my DD did over 25 rides in one day, mostly in Camp Snoopy. After she got older she and I did 26 rides in one day and left before closing because we were all ridded (sp?) out! :goodvibes

KBF always opens at 10 and closes based on season. During off-season they close at 5 or 6 but that is plenty of time to do all.

Besides Camp Snoopy there are the rides that make KBF unique. Stagecoach, Calico Mine Train, Log Ride and they have bumper cars that allow you to actually bump into each other. Pretty fun! When it's not crowded they may let you ride again without getting out. Actually this can happen on many rides when there aren't many people waiting.

And for the bigger and more adventurous in your group, Xcelerator it may hands down favorite roller coaster! :cheer2:

And of course, there's Mrs. Knott's famous fried chicken. Yum!

Knotts has lots and lots rides for little kids. also has a few family oriented rides like the stagecoach and two trains. as well a cute snoopy live show.

We took our girls when they were 3 & 5. They liked Camp Snoopy, but had done all the rides there within about an hour (there were no lines there that morning - which was really nice). There was one coaster outside of Camp Snoopy that my 5 yr old could ride. I think my 3 yr old rode the train, the log ride (which she loved - even before the refurb) and the mine ride outside of Camp Snoopy.

We've debated going a couple of times this year, but decided to wait until my youngest (now 6 - 46") is 48" so she can ride more. She's a coaster fan!
