Can anyone advise the type of coffeemaker for Boardwalk in a one bedroom, standard room in November? We have a Keurig at home and hope the refurb rooms have the new option, as we will be visiting family there. Thanks as always

Keurig in the updated BW view studios

Had a single serve Keurig this past July but it was a standard room at BW.
And I had to run it twice to get a semi decent cup of Joe; going back to tea, lol.

We'll be there in a few weeks, in standard 1 bedroom. I'll take some pictures and post. There better be a Keurig, because I"m planning to leave mine at home this trip. I usually bring my own. I will be bringing my own coffee pods. I dont' like any hotel coffee, and that includes Disney.

DVC put the Keurig K-Duo in all BWV rooms during the most recent refurbishment. Stayed in a 1-bedroom at BWV back in March and there was a Keurig in the room.

All Boardwalk 1 and 2 bedrooms I've stayed in have the dual pot/kcup machines. 3 stays so far post-refurb, most recently this June. Will be there again next weekend.

Yes I think now that all the BW rooms have been updated they all have the Duo Keurig. You’ll get a mix K-Cups and Joffrey’s pouches to make drip coffee. Our BW studio last December already had the Duo and real fridge (not Bev Cooler) since that room was newly refurbed. I think future refurbs will start doing regular fridges again.

No freezer in the fridge/cooler in our refurb BW view studio in April

Is the Keurig Duo the machine pictured above that can use both, ground coffee or K-Cups? I’ll be staying in a one bedroom at Boardwalk in January for Marathon Weekend, but I have only ever seen drip coffee makers in the rooms in the past, so I want to make sure I am prepared. I am anti Keurig. Paying twice as much for coffee just to avoid scooping it makes no sense to me.

Yes, that's the best part about the duo machine. You can bring your favorite ground coffee and filters (looks like flat bottom basket type) and drip the coffee you like, ignoring the pod side.

Yes, the ground drip side is the flat bottom basket type. It should come with a washable filter basket (unless someone steals or destroys it) - I always bring my own paper filters just to save a little cleaning time since I have a bunch of them at home already.

If the original poster can add the list of coffee makers at each resort on the initial post, and then edit that original post as information changes or is updated, then you could always see on the first post the full updated list without having to read through the thread.

On the rumors forum,, there's a post about construction updates and additions that works like that...could be a solution.

Or the way the ROFR threads are organized...very easily parsed...takes effort from OP, but worth it for later viewers.
