The 8th-15th. Just young son and I! We are staying at YC. It’s kind of a redo for me because a chef made me sick and it was handled really badly. Disney doesn’t like it when their chefs make you have an allergic reaction and they try to make it up to you.......

I've been meaning to message you! So we'll have a couple days overlap, hopefully we can run in to each other. The 13th we're doing Epcot/HS and then on the 14th MK/Epcot

Ah...almost wrapped up the report and it is bringing back those memories...of NO Fastpasses!

Definitely! If I ever figure out some type of schedule lol! Technically I do have a bit of one, but all I can remember off hand is AK on the 17th and MK to start on the 18th, and AK later in the day on Thanksgiving. I better look soon since I need to figure FP's before we leave in.........8 days

My kids are also scarred from 50s PT. If I even mention Aunt Carol, they start scarfing down their dinner.

I think that could work to the advantage of many families!

I finally got to try one of these bad boys on our July trip. It was at POR and not WL but still delish.

I'm considering WL for our August next year. At the very least, we're going to do the new character dining with Snow and the Dwarves. And I really want to check out Geyser Point.

Geyser Point is so relaxing, even our boys love it. In fact just yesterday Chris was complaining again about how we aren't staying there in Nov. and how he wants to go to GP

We have eaten at GFC once for lunch and never again. Our lunch was about two hours long. It was very annoying.

It's unfortunate because we loved our food, but the duration kind of killed it.

AGREED in that my daughter really did have the FP Magic working for her. Those hours we toured the parks late at night, just the two of us, were so much fun. Cherished memories.

You and me BOTH on the schedule, though I sorta have one I'm also not against throwing it out the window if my FPs don't line up with what I have right now. I'll have to post some of the potential schedule so far, but I think we both already know we will be having Thanksgiving Dinner at the EXACT same place at nearly the same time. We should have no excuse not to say hello at least there!

Yes, we had to move our trip up by one week and now we overlap. We will be arriving on Wed, Sept 12th and leaving on Sunday, Sept 16th. We'll have to try to run into you. We are going to Epcot four times since we want to get the passholder cutting board. So maybe we will see you there.

So the other day I started an update for my dining report. Then the next day I worked on it more, and I was about 75% done when I needed to shut down for the night. Went back the next day -

On Tuesday the 4 of us went to a mall about 40 minutes away, in Danbury CT. It's a great mall I've always liked and right now has a much better selection than our local mall. Besides shopping for the boys, we hit Hot Topic and the Disney Store (well duh!) and I managed to find a thing or two. Maybe more......
First I'll start with the Halloween shirts I ordered from Etsy for Steve and I:



Holy crap I re-sized these to 25%! I don't know what the problem with my pictures is.....
I do know I'm probably done ordering from Etsy because I can never get sizes right and it's not like I don't know mine or Steve's size. In the past I order what we normally wear and they've been WAY too small, so I order one size up and they're usually still a bit snug, more snug than we like. So THIS time I ordered TWO sizes up, thinking even if they were a little big I could shrink them.
I LOVE these shirts. They're so soft and I think the designs are adorable. Unfortunately they were huge!!! I've so far tried shrinking them twice and while it's helped, we kind of still look like we're swimming in them. Steve said he doesn't care but I don't really like the way mine looks so not sure if I'll wear it. I just wanted something Halloween-y for the party.
Since I knew it'd most likely be in the 90's for the party, I also ordered a tank top from Etsy but a different seller:

I did the two sizes up with this also and it's not that it's too big all around, it's the freaking armpits. They stick out like two inches on each side and look stupid. I've washed it once and need to try it on again but seriously when wearing it, it looked like it was on a hanger. I'm so disappointed and I'm sure it's not the sellers, it's my stupid body, but I'm just going to stick to shirts I can buy in stores now or in the park.

Bottom line I have no idea if I'll be wearing either of these next week, sadly. That's why I went full-speed into the Disney store Tuesday! First I got this:

Adorable! It had a black silk scarf displayed with it that has Mickey heads in yellow, red and white so I bought that, too. The skirt is pretty stiff though and makes my hips look none too small (which they most certainly are not anyway), so I'm going to wash this just to see if it softens up! I'll wear it anyway and have a black stretchy tank. I forgot to take a picture of the scarf but won't be wearing it anyway. First, I don't like things around my neck but got it solely for fashion purposes. Second, when I tried putting it on I discovered that either:
1. The scarf was made for a child, or
2. I have an insanely, ridiculously large neck, because I couldn't even begin to tie this around it So I'll probably give it to some friends' daughter lol.

That was it actually it as far as clothes there. They has some cute things I hadn't seen online but nothing jumped out.

Except then there were these!

Looking TOTALLY creepy and a tad disheveled if I do say so, as if someone else had been in the vehicle with her and made a hasty exit.......

Was the purpose to show kids today that we used to have to ride in mechanical forms of transportation for fun in the mall because we couldn't play video games on our phones while our moms shopped? I just can't figure out why she's in there

I fell in love with these Peter Pan shorts!!! I took a close up of the pattern but I can't fit it in this post. These are so soft and comfy, I was looking for more shorts in this style but they had none. I have exactly ZERO tops to wear with these so tomorrow I go shopping some more Since shorts/skirts were buy one get one free, I grabbed this because I liked they style:



It's not Disney but it's soft and comfy and.......Mission: Space? Which I don't ride? Spaceship Earth? Future World? Tomorrowland?

I didn't see anything else and I can't let BOGO GB (go by lol). I figured I can relate it to Disney somehow! Again though, no top to wear with it except the one I'll wear with my red Disney Store Minnie skirt so more reason to shop tomorrow

And that was it with one exception, I also bought this really pretty Rapunzel dress in Hot Topic. I think @ArielSRL had posted a picture either here or in our big FB group some of you are part of, it's pink/purple, long, sleeveless, and has the star on the front. Well I got that baby home and tried it on, and looked like a 47 year old pregnant Rapunzel only bad. Like not a pretty Rapunzel getting on in years with an "oops" pregnancy, but just an old lady wearing a dress that didn't fit right because she's pregnant and pregnancy has made her look horrible.

Basically what I'm saying is the dress does not look good.

There's my stuff! I'm very happy with it all, just wish I had something I loved to wear to the Halloween party. I assume I'm going to go with my old black and white HM tank but we'll see. I was also thinking I could wear my Snow White Cherry Tree Lane dress? It's just so......dressy! Plus if it is hot it'll be uncomfortable because even though it's sleeveless, those dresses are kind of heavy.

I love that mall...I'm 40 minutes from there also but in the other direction. Charming Charlie's has some great Disney Villain purses also. I hear the Etsy problems. We got our MNSSHP costumes from there and apparently our bodies grew as quickly as the Grinch's heart on Christmas morning so we have had to go to plan B. Either way you will have fun fun fun so that's all that matters.

Aww...love the new purchases but sucks about all of the sizing issues. We are debating POSSIBLY attending MNSSHP later this month, while on our "Universal" trip, but we'll see how that goes.
