Background -
Several years ago, my parents went out of town, & I asked them to bring me back some cotton twigs for decoration. They didn't find any, &, it sort of became a joke.
We were getting their mail while they were away, so, the night before they were scheduled to return, I took several bags of cotton balls & "cotton-balled" the inside of their house. We threw cotton balls everywhere!
They loved it & thought it was hilarious.
So, it became a "thing" for us to prank each other house's while we were out of town. On the other occasion my parents were out of town, we rearranged some of their kitchen cabinets & short-sheeted their bed.
However, we have been out of town WAAAY more than they have, so they have had quite a few more opportunities to prank our house.
* They've tp'd the interior of our house.
* They've rearranged cabinets & small pieces of furniture & other knickknacks.
* The week we were gone right before the 4th of July, we came back, & our house had been "4th of July'd" - Mom bought 300 little American flags & tons of red, white, & blue beads, & our whole whole house was red, white, & blue.
* One December, we came back, & Christmas bows were literally everywhere.
* Another December we came home, & tinsel was everywhere.
* Last September, we came home, & found artificial fall leaves everywhere.
It's always something. Once, they arranged all of our younger son's stuffed animals like they'd been having a party.
They also leave chocolate bars on our pillows & $1.00 bill under our pillows.
Plus, they always leave baked goods & fresh orange juice.
So it's basically "tricks & treats"! ;-)
Anyway, they haven't been out of town in forever, & they finally went somewhere this past week.
They return tomorrow, & I NEED ideas for what we can do to their house!
Because we've been out of town more frequently, they've done so much to us that I can't really think of anything unique. LOL!
Right now, my one idea is to take a silly pic of the kids & then print enough copies to go in all their current picture frames.
Anything else?
Thank you!!!
