How often are mattresses replaced at resorts?

Just curious. Staying at YC coming up in Jan and have read alot of reviews about it being run down looking - I realize they aren't due to remodel the rooms, but do they replace mattresses regularly?

Not sure exactly but I know all the mattresses at CSR are being changed from doubles to queens. Not sure how old the other ones were.

My brother just got back from the Yacht Club & said they place was great looking. Not run down looking like some say. He said the bedding was good for his bad back & his wife said they were not worn out.

We were just at the YC in June and my husband loves the mattresses there. He has a bad back as well and never had a problem. We love the YC.

Actually, the YC IS due for a room refurb. It will be next in line after the Beach Club is done, sometime early next year.

I suppose they replace the mattresses as needed (like if there are springs poking out, or stains, or odors), and do a round of full replacements every 5-7 years when they do a soft goods refurb in the rooms.

Really? Oh my gosh, I would have thought more often than that.
