How much money would you take?

We are going to be in Orlando for 14 days in December. We will be off-site doing non-Disney stuff for 5 days and then at the Wilderness Lodge doing Disney for 9 days.

We are two adults with no kids. Our hotels and MVMCP tix are already paid for. We have our budget figured in with plenty of money for all meals, park tickets, mini golf and water mice, Pleasure Island and Disney Quest, etc. - all the major expenses. We even have money figured in for tips, parking fees at a few of the off-site locations, tolls, etc.

However, we are having trouble deciding how much "extra" spending money we will need. This extra money would strictly be for snacks/drinks in the parks (you know - Mickey Ice Cream Bars, popcorn, cokes, etc.) and for souvinieres. We are really trying to cut down on the amount of "stuff" we buy this trip, since we have been lots of times, and we are planning on only buying some Christmas ornaments and maybe a sweatshirt for each of us. We don't want to spend too much money, but we want to be able to have fun, too.

How much "extra" money for snacks and stuff would budget for a 14 day trip?

For a 14 day trip I wouldn't take anymore than $300 for extras. That should be more than enough. We allow 20.00 a day for extras. We usually don't spend that much though.
