How is the best way to buy a 1 day ticket?

We are planning a weekend trip before a cruise and really only have time for 1 park, just wondering best way to buy a 1 day ticket? Would love any tips or advice

You’ll get the best price by buying online direct from Disney. They apparently don’t discount the 1 and 2 day tickets when they sell them to the resellers, so prices from the resellers are usually higher than direct from Disney.

On Disney website I can buy only 2 Day and greater, I only need 1 day, did you mean I need to call Disney?

In the past you’re correct that you did need to purchase a 2 day ticket for a period of time but that is no longer the case. I just tried on MDE and it was allowing me to purchase a 1 day ticket.

What dates are you looking? Pisdibly that makes a difference?

That’s strange. I just checked the WDW website (without logging in) and it offered me 1 to 10 day tickets.

I may be late but thought I'd chime in... you must be trying to add the tickets to a package reservation. That does require at least a 2-day ticket. Book a room-only reservation and then buy your tickets as a separate purchase. You'll need to pay-in-full for the tickets at the time of purchase.
