Hi DISers,

I thought maybe you could help me out. I'm looking to purchase Mickey Crocs for my son, who is 3. He is currently just into a size 9 wide sneaker. I am wondering whether or not it would be better to get him the 8-9 or bump up to the next size which is 10-11. My DMIL gave him a pair, but they are huge, 12-13! Unfortunately for me, he's in love with them so I am scrambling to find a pair that fits! :lmao: Thanks in advance.

I actually posted a question like this last week. I was told the Disney Crocs run bigger than the regular ones. My son is also a 9 and his regular 9/10 Crocs are getting a bit tight so I bought him a 10/11 in the Disney ones. I bought them at www.dickssportinggoods.com and have not received them yet. I'm hoping their not huge. There is free shipping and free returns there so at least I can send 'em back no prob. I was also told that if you throw the Crocs in the dryer for 20 minutes they will shrink 1/2 a size.

My DD is somewhere between a 7 1/2 and 8. Her Crocs from last year are size 6/7. I just took them out yesterday and they still fit her, but the fit is exact. I just ordered her a pair of mary jane crocs size 8/9. I would do the 10/11 and if they are big do what the PP suggested.
I ordered mine from www.robertwayne.com. I got free shipping and 10% off with the code MC10OFF
Not sure if they have Mickey ones or not.

Thanks so much for your help! I went to the crocs.com website and found their sizing chart. I don't know if it would be helpful for you, seeing as how you've ordered, but I was able to print it out and measure DS' foot on it. I will definitely be ordering him the 10-11. One of his feet is slightly larger than the other, so I really think we need this size. Plus, I don't want him to have any trouble with rubbing against his skin, etc.

Thanks for your answer though. I was really looking for some real life experience. Anyone else want to weigh in? :goodvibes

The only place I can find the Mickey Crocs for a decent price in DS' size is on shoes.com. I've found some coupon codes online, but none of them seem to work. :confused3 I think I'm going to have to deal with paying $29.99 for them, unless anyone knows somewhere else?

Try disneyshopping.com this weekend they have a 15% off code and I am pretty sure you can use them on crocs!

Thanks, but he specifically likes blue. And I don't think they have them there? I can't find blue on the site. :goodvibes

I just bought my DS4 a pair of Disney Crocs at the WoD in NYC. He wears a size 12 shoe. After three exchanges, he has the 12-13 size that someone suggested I throw in the dryer for 20 mins to shrink them.

They are enormous!

I read on this board that regular crocs are made in mexico and the Disney ones in China (or visa versa I can't remember) but the Disney ones are larger than the traditional crocs.

I'm a little nervous at $35 to throw them in the dryer, but I might have to they are SO BIG on him.

Oh, he loves his blue pair.

My DS1 has the red Mickey ones, they're big too, but not nearly as large as my older son's.

My son has WIDE feet, like extra wide special order from stride rite feet.
His feet measure 8 and 8.5 - we tried on the regular (not Disney) crocs and the 8/9 fit him great. He's still got a little bit of room to grow into them.
HTH

Right! Regular Crocs are true to size, Disney Crocs run big.

Thanks to everyone who weighed in! I didn't realize there was such a big difference between the Disney vs. the regular Crocs. So, yesterday I ordered him the 10-11. Today after reading all your posts I ordered the 8-9 as well. I figure better safe than sorry. With free shipping and returns, there's nothing to lose, and DS is so looking forward to receiving these I don't want him to have ones that don't fit...it would be a huge bummer! :goodvibes

Just received those Disney Crocs I've been waiting for in a size 10/11. They are big and are in the dryer now. I took them out after 5 minutes to see if anything was happening...they actually had already shrunk a bit. I put them in the rest of the time, a full 20 minutes and they fit perfectly. He had a 9/10 in his regular Crocs that are really too small which is why I bought the next size up. I'm so glad the dryer trick worked!!

Do regular crocs or Disney crocs fit narrow feet? I can't seem to have any luck with these with my girlz narrow feet???? :confused3

Crocs are meant to be wide and roomy. Maybe try one of the other brands, Sketchers makes them..Kohl's sells that brand. Or try a different style, they have really cute Mary Jane's for girls.

I have found the opposite. My little boy wears an 8 and has 8/9 in both regular and disney crocs. The disney crocs are almost too small. The regular crocs fit OK, maybe a bit big. The scutes are HUGE!
