Hi everyone!

So We will be journeying across the ocean to Europe for our honeymoon this March from New York City. Neither of us have ever been to Europe and we have lots of questions. Anyone with some advice would be greatly appreciated.

So the plan is for us to leave NY on Wednesday 3/14 to London and stay until Sunday 3/18. On Sunday, we are planning on heading to Paris for 3 nights (4 days). We want to stay at The DisneyLand Hotel and do the parks as well as see the sights of Paris. Here's our questions:

1. will 4 days and 3 nights be enough to see the parks as well as Paris?

2. Is it easy to get from a Disneyland hotel into the city of paris? Whats the best way to travel?

3. Is it easy to get from London to Paris? We are thinking of going by train.

4. Is there a restaurant we shouldn't miss that would be really special for a honeymoon dinner?

Thanks in advance for help! any advice will be greatly appreciated.

It will be a busy few days but you should be able to squeeze in the main highlights of the parks and the city in this time. I would recommend splitting the time in half between the two. As you are going in March the parks at DLP will close quite early but you could get a train to Paris at night for a meal and to see the Eiffel Tower lights after a day in the parks.

2. Is it easy to get from a Disneyland hotel into the city of paris? Whats the best way to travel?
Yes its very easy to travel by train, Disneyland Paris has its own train station with frequent trains directly into Paris. I'll try and find a link to a page explaining the trains rather than posting again.

3. Is it easy to get from London to Paris? We are thinking of going by train.
Again, very easy on the eurostar and an enjoyable journey. You get the best deals via the Eurostar website rather than through Disney, have a look now as prices for March should be available.

4. Is there a restaurant we shouldn't miss that would be really special for a honeymoon dinner?
This really depends on your tastes - if you are staying in the Disneyland Hotel, the California Grill is a beautiful upmarket restaurant, but I'm not lucky/rich enough to have been myself! My personal favourite is Blue Lagoon and I think it would be very romantic. Take a look at the restaurant review thread in the stickies :)

Sounds like a great trip! Where else in Europe are you going? Most of us here are from the UK so can help with London planning as well if you need any advice. Don't suppose you're venturing north of the border but if you are I can help with Scotland stuff too :surfweb:

Great answers above, but I thought I'd throw in my two cents regarding restaurants.

I recently got engaged in DLP, and we had two wonderful, romantic meals at Blue Lagoon and Walts. They both have a lovely, more adult atmosphere and the food is really good. I'd love to try California Grill for a romantic meal but have yet to have a good enough reason to shell out the money - if we return to DLP as part of our honeymoon then it would definitely be on the agenda!

So the plan is for us to leave ny on wednesday 3/14 to london and stay until sunday 3/18. On sunday, we are planning on heading to paris for 3 nights (4 days). We want to stay at the disneyland hotel and do the parks as well as see the sights of paris. Here's our questions:

i would beg to differ with the first poster on that one. I would say add at least a day to that to include paris as i would think that if your coming from the states you would want to sample as much as you can.

2. Is it easy to get from a disneyland hotel into the city of paris? Whats the best way to travel?

yes there is a train from just opposite the disney hotel. Travel into paris is around 1 hour i think as it makes a few stops on the way

3. Is it easy to get from london to paris? We are thinking of going by train.

yes, depending on where you are actually staying in london, it will be a short journey. http://stpancras.com/how-to-get-here
then you want the eurostar http://www.eurostar.com/dynamic/_Sv...ANG=UK&_AGENCY=ESTAR&country=UK&lang=UK&VT=EB That will take you straight into eurodisney it'self with literally a 5 minute walk to your hotel

4. Is there a restaurant we shouldn't miss that would be really special for a honeymoon dinner?

sorry i usually stick to the hotel resturants so can't help you with that one. Although you could have a browse through this, http://www.dlrpmagic.com/planning/dining/restaurant-menus/ see which ones appeal and then ask in here about each one you like. I do hear annettes and walts mentioned quite alot.

thanks in advance for help! Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
