What are the advantages of high vs low top tables at WOC dessert party? Which do you prefer and why? Also when checking in and choosing as spot, any location recommendations or are all spots equally good for viewing?
Thanks for any advice!

I’ve done it twice and both times have had a high top. I like the elevation, although slight, and I relay like the director style chairs. They have foot rests and are actually pretty comfortable.

The first time I think we had table 49 and the second time I think we either had table 36 or 37.
With the latter we had a more obvious lamp post in the way but when engrossed in the show it was easy to ignore and then kind of melted away.

I agree with all this. We had a high top and preferred the slightly taller view. The chairs were comfortable. Had we arrived early enough I wood have asked for a high top in the first row (no tables in front). Those were all gone so we asked for a high top with the best view. We were centered in the party area near the “hostess stand” for lack of a better word. This was our view:

Does anyone in your group have balance or back problems? When my parents are with us, we choose a low top table. DH and I prefer the high tops, but my parents feel more comfortable at a low table. And we've never had a bad view at any table at the WOC Dessert Party.

Is the best strategy to ask for a table with the best view? I generally hate high top tables but will deal with it if it gives us a good view.

When we checked in I asked for a low table over to the right and we had an awesome view. I like low tables because I have a bad back, but from what I've heard the tall directors chairs at the dessert party are pretty comfortable.

Thanks to all for the helpful replies! I think we’ll ask for a high top since we have no back or balance issues. Can’t wait to do the DP for the first time in a couple of weeks!

I prefer the high top tables being on the short side. It allows me to see the show better. When we check in we usually ask for a table that is in the center of the seating area. Enjoy the show!
