Help with Silver or Miss Me jeans

DD17 wants a pair of either Silver or Miss Me jeans for Christmas. These are way more than I would spend on jeans, but she really wants them. She doesn't ask for alot of "name brand" things and with what I have left to spend on her, with these and a shirt would finish her up .

Where can I get them for a good deal? I did find some on Maurices.com on clearance that would be $43 ($72 with extra %40 off) but the other issue I have is their sizes run different and I don't know what size to order. She wears a 9 or 11 in jeans, the Silver runs 29, 30, 31, etc... Does anyone know how to translate those into "normal" sizes. Do they tend to run small or large? If it helps she wears a 10 long in American Eagle boyfriend cut jeans.

The 29, 30, 31 is waist size (like mens pants) HTH. However make sure that is US sizing instead of European sizing --

To figure out a jean size, just add 20. So if she's a 10, she's a 30. (I worked in various retail mall shops, like Express and American Eagle, all through college... I'm telling the truth, honest!)

Not necessarily true with Miss Me. I wear Miss Me and 7 Jeans. My regular dress/paint size is a 6 and I get a 29 or 30 depending on the jean.

I just bought a pair of Miss Me jeans at Belk! I did not get any deal on them But boy are they cute!

Thanks...this actually worked out...we ended up going over to Maurices to try some on and 30's fit her perfectly.

I did find several pair on their website (maurice's) that are on sale for 40% off and she found a cute pair for 60 something dollars, so they'll be less than 40 bucks! I can stomach that!! lol

Glad the tip worked for your daughter, but the +20 is definitely not a hardfast rule. I wear a 2 in dress pants (0 at Ann Taylor) and wear a 26 jean. Less than $40 for jeans is AWESOME! Great deal finding!

Macys has them by us and they are having their Friend & Family 25% off sale which includes everything. I heard they will give you the pass at the store. I love these jeans myself!

All of you that love Silver Jeans...they are all I wear so I am always on the look out for a deal...check Amazon. They very often have a pair or two for under 30.00. The price flucuates often so check back there alot. I bought about 4 pairs for around 27.00-35.00 a pair this year at Amazon. Silver sizes run very consistant from style to style.

Also, Macy's has great deals on Silvers online and in stores quite often. I just bought my DD a pair in Macy's for 13.00

Alloy.com also has great sales on Silvers very often. Around 30.00 a pair.

And Silverjeans.com sometimes offers deals like buy one get one...last year they offered buy 1 get 2 free!

If you are near Birmingham, the Pants Store has the miss me jeans for about $60. My sister just bought some tonight for me to give my niece for Christmas. I was happy with the price because the originally told me they are about $85!!!
