Help! My mom froze an (unopened can) of Pillsbury dough

Well I am trying this. My dh put the can of biscuits in the freezer. I just took it out and put it in the frig. I hope it doesnt explode. Its just the store brand and I dont like my refrig. anyway.
Maybe I should put it on the kitchen counter overnight? I dont want the noise scaring me. Thinking of keeping it in a ziploc too so it doesnt make a mess.
Any other info? TIA.

My husband left an unopened can of Coke in my car. In the SoCal heat. It exploded and there was sticky caramel Coke EVERYWHERE. It even went down the window into the electric mechanisms. Horrible to clean so we had the car detailed.

If you read up, the worst that might happen is the container expanding and thus compromised. It won't explode, especially with the contents frozen. I think that's the primary reason why they say not to freeze.
