I am 2 days out from making my FP selections and looking through my plans to figure out exactly what I want has got me reconsidering my plans. I would love some input. Our group is me, DH, my mom , my dad, our almost 2 year old daughter.

On 9/9 my plan was to use the morning to do whatever (either MK with EMH or HS or AK) then take a break/nap at our FW cabin then head to Epcot for a couple things in the afternoon probably arriving around 3 realistically.

All we really want to do there is FEA (with FP), nemo, crush, soaring (will ride swap), visa meet and greet and currently we have Akerhaus dinner at 5:05. Sometime after dinner my husband and me were planning to have an adult night to check out HS Star Wars stuff we haven't seen yet and hang out during the evening EMH (really hoping the fireworks get extending into Sept).

Anyways now I'm thinking maybe we should do Epcot in the morning so that we can get more FPs for later in the day and if we get there at rope drop we can do soaring with less of a wait. Really the only FP we need is FEA and saving it until so late in the day seems like a waste of FPs. A couple drawbacks of this plan however are not doing the meet and greet (doesn't start until 1) and needing to find different reservations or be able to switch to a lunch ADR.

I also want to consider the hassle of getting to HS from a park other than Epcot. My husband and I don't want to waste our valuable night off on too much disney transportation.

Thoughts, opinions, ideas......please!!

Hopefully, they have FEA working full time by the time you're there....

Honestly, I liked getting to EPCOT early in the morning and would do Soarin' at rope drop. The lines are not nearly as bad since they added the 3rd screen. I would set your FP for FEA in the late morning 11:00...11:30...or maybe the last thing you do before you leave the park before you and your husband head over to DHS?? There should be plenty for you guys to do and maybe you can fit in the meet and greet, too.

Enjoy!!

I would do EP in the morning. RD Soarin', get FP+ for FEA, FP+ Character Spot (ditch the visa meet and greet, lines are long and it's only 2 characters) and FP+ one other attraction (Nemo or Turtle Talk, unless you want to do Spaceship Earth and then I would FP+ that), change your ADR to lunch and then head out of EP for your nap. If you want to do another park after the nap, everyone can go to DHS and then your parents could take your daughter back to Ft. W while you and your DH stay.

I agree with others about morning. Rope Drop early. With the tiered FP system I have found that FP's are better used at other parks. Assuming TT and Soarin are on your to do list.

I was just able to find an Akerhaus ADR for 11:55 lunch so I think Epcot in the morning it is. Thanks everyone.

So between nemo and crush which to fp? Is there any benefit in a crush fp? I have never had to wait anymore than just the show before getting done.
