Hi everyone. I am trying to find some short sleeve Mickey/Minnie or Princess Maternity tees. I have tried google, Disney Shopping.com and ebay. Cant find anything that will work. Has anyone out there seen any Disney Maternity anywhere? I would love to have some tees for out trip..

Thanks

Haven't found a lot of selection in maternity outfits myself, but I wanted to suggest maybe buy some plain, solid-colored maternity tee-shirts (I found good deals at Kohl's and Old Navy) and then get some iron-on transfers of disney characters from a fabric or craft store and make your own tee shirts. Or you can buy the plain iron-on transfer paper, I think, and then print clip art off the computer with your printer and then just iron it on...poof, homemade Disney tee. Hope you find something that works! :)

I saw a couple of shirts at WDW last year. They were in one of the shops at MGM. Perhaps call Disney merchandising and see if they still have them? They were very cute; I told my dh I needed to have one more baby so that I could get those shirts! (He didn't buy it...I am forever trying to sway him for a 3rd baby)

I've looked everywhere (I'm 5 mos pregnant) and I've come up with nothing. The only thing I can suggest is to buy a tshirt in a larger size than you would normally wear. I wish they had some Disney maternity stuff in the nice lady cuts or fitted tees but they don't and I hate wearing a tshirt that looks like I'm wearing a huge shapeless garbage bag.

I do have a pink mickey tee that came from motherhood maternity but I bought it from an ebay lot so I have no idea how long ago they carried it.

I hope someone here can point us in the right direction.

Given the style these days, you could perhaps make a few alternations (no sew). My cousin recently did this with great results! She cut the short sleeves to be no sleeve/tank-style and she even made some cuts to the neckline and slit on the sides. She got maternity cami's in coordinating colors to wear under them. Almost an 80's Flash Dance style...I hope I am conveying this clearly. Let me tell you, my cousin is very fashion savvy. This wasn't a rag-a-muffin, thrown together thing. She got a Mickey T, a Stitch T, and a Grumpy T...(nothing feminine 'cuz they're men's). They looked absolutely adorable! Good luck. BTW, God bless you for still being determined to look the part on your trip while pregnant. Frankly, as long as everything that needed to be covered was, and I was comfortable that is all I cared about when we travelled to WDW when I was expecting.

Last year Kmart had a bunch of Disney maternity t-shirts. I got a really cute one with Tinkerbell on it that said "Magic Inside". I wore it on our trip and quite a few CM's complimented me on it and wanted to know where I got it so they could get them for their pg daughters! If you have a Kmart near you take a ride over and see what theu have. princess:

I got a cute Minnie Three-quarter length sleeve baseball tee through Mimmi at a Pea in a Pod store. If I hadn't gotten rid of it, I would send it to you. Sorry.

Hey guys... OP HERE!

I found a ton of stuff at KMART

I decided to go and check them out. I am going to post links to what I found.

I bought 4 shirts, three were in the plus size womens dept and one maternity. The three in plus feel so good, and will look great on a bump.... Soft cotton and stretchy :thumbsup2

I could only find links for two of the ones I got.

( I just love this shirt. It is pink and has grumpy on it...LOL... perfect for being huge preggers )

( This one is a Mickey Mouse club tee that is too cute!!! I cant wait to wear it at Disney )

The other one I found is a blue short sleeve shirt with Mickey's head on it, and it says Mickey Mouse under his head. Very cute.

******Do not purchase online. I got these tee's on sale in the store for 8 bucks each!!!

Here is two links for the Maternity tops. I did not get the pooh one. It is cute, but I am not a pooh fan. I just thought I would add a link to show you gals what it looks like if you want.

( pooh shirt---on sale for 6 bucks in the store )

( this is an ebay link for the last shirt I got at Kmart. It is on sale at Kmart for 6 bucks. The shirt is a pretty baby blue color. This ebay pic is really bad, but it does show the decal on the shirt. It is so cute. It says Future Mouseketeer on it!!! :cloud9: )

Well gals, I did the homework for us all. We should now be able to head to the world with some cute preggers tops!

Enjoy

OMIGOSH! Those are so cute! I am glad you found something! I was going to suggest what some of the pp stated about buying plain t-shirts and ironing on designs...the ladies at the creative DISign forum make beautiful pics that you can print onto transfer paper and iron on to t-shirts! I bet they would design you some super cute pics if you still want to try it! I would LOVE to see what they come up with!

I'm glad you found some maternity - and at such GREAT prices!

Good luck with your pregnancy and your travels!

I was about to post that there were some cute ones on e-bay, but I think we're talking about the same shirt :)
The future mousketeer one is SO cute! There were 2 (I think) auctions going on- one started at 5.95 and the other at 22.95 or something like that.

I wish we had a kmart around here!

If you need more pg t-shirts, here is a link to some shirt designs you can print onto transfer paper and iron-on to your own t-shirts...you can find tips on how to do this on the creative DISigns board I mentioned in my pp. These are compliments of Julia & Nicks mom:

They can even personalize them for you if you ask! They are really helpful!

Good luck!

That is exactly what I was going to suggest! Good luck.

So glad Kmart worked for you! I was going to suggest it as I know my MIL got me some from there my last pregnancy. And as it turns out I'll need them for our November trip!! :)

My Dh got me a xlarge shirt from the Disney Store that worked well. It was Mrs. Incredible and it said "Stretched to My Limits". He thougth it would be funny for our trip since I was seven months pregnant with number six.

I had also picked up some plain Mat tops from Old Navy that you could put iron on decals on to "Disney" them up.

Just wanted to say thanks for the K-mart links. I'm not going to Disney this year :sad2: , but I will pick up some of those adorable, low-priced maternity tops! :thumbsup2
