Has this happened to anyone else?

Had an interesting morning. I apologize ahead of time that this is long.

Today was THE DAY. I had researched all threads, looked at numerous videos, and asked multiple questions about how to work the LLMP and LLSP system. I was ready to press that button.

Had everything lined up (dates, parks, rides, and times wanted for my party of 4.) I was pretty confident that we would get most of what we wanted between the two LL options, but nothing prepared me for what happened this morning at 7:01am. First of all, awoke at 2:30am and could not get back to sleep. So I read my Kindle until 6:30am. I had a little coffee and even cruise the DISboard some more. I had done all of the free app work on MDE and was ready to pick our first rides.

No problem getting into the app right at 7:00am. In fact, some excellent early times came up for the first park that I was trying for (Magic Kingdom.) So I accepted those with a tap and went to the next screen where it asked what guest are joining me. I picked the first two names in my party (my husband's cousins) and then I went to tap on my husband, but he was not there, or listed as an eligible guest. I scanned down the list passed duplicate names of my daughter and grandchildren who are not traveling with us this trip. And then I saw my husbands name (with the grumpy old man meme from Up) at the very end of that list. I clicked on his name and nothing happened. I looked closer and written in tiny letters was "not eligible until March 28th, 2025." What...wait...he is traveling with us!!! We have resort reservations and park passes beginning next Sunday. Why is he not eligible? I checked to make sure that his park passes had the correct date on them and they did.

By this time, my heart was racing and all I could think about was that the ride times were going to get taken. My spirit wilted like a flower, I almost cried, and then I got mad. Here it was, Sunday morning at 7:08 and not having a clue what to do. I finally resigned myself to the fact that we would not be going to the parks with LL passes. My husband's cousin (who is on Central time) had to get up extra early as she was taking care of booking two LLSP's for us. I text her to tell her what had happened and that we were #%#%. I decided it would have to be a chill vacation instead of trying to get a lot of rides in (although that's not really what I wanted.) I told the cousin that we would just go to the parks and try our best to get on some of the rides. She said she had also noticed that my husband was not eligible, but that she had gone ahead and booked the LLSP's for the rest of us and had planned to get in touch with WDW to find out what the problem was. She is a Disney annual pass member, so she got on a chat with Disney. It was already around 7:20.

I waited for what seemed and eternity watching that clock tick away. Cousin finally text me that a cast member had taken care of putting my husband back with our group and that I could proceed with getting the LLMP rides. I was not confident anymore about getting much. Low and behold, some pretty good times showed up for MK park. I was thrilled! Booked and paid. The 2nd park (DHS) had no early ride availability, but I was still able to pick 3 in the afternoon time frame that we needed before heading out of the park (we have dinner reservations at Toplino's Terrace at Riviera Resort at 7:40.) The only problem with the afternoon picks is that we can not choose another ride until we tap in the the first at 1:10. That leaves us scrambling to find something in the morning hours. I guess we will wait in lines. And it does not give us much time to find another LL that afternoon before we have to leave.

So I tried to go back in this afternoon to see if an early ride time was available. I clicked on Modify for the 1:10 ride on ToT (found out one member of our party does not want to ride it, and I was on the fence. Figured if we could try for a different earlier ride, and we could always revisit ToT for later. The app showed M&M Runaway Railway (no available times were listed this morning), Smugglers Run, and Alien Saucers all with an available time of 9:45. Great!!! Only it wasn't. I tried multiple taps on each of those rides and always got a "not available" pop up. I do not understand why. There is nothing that will overlap with this time. They are still showing on MDE at this time.

Anyone know why I am unable to choose one of them?

Yes once you complete the initial purchase of your LLMP, it is very differential to modify any attraction to be earlier. It always want to add at the end of the the other attractions. It is much easier before you complete the purchase step.

Has anyone ever had a reservation screw up with a guest?

Yes this is a very common situation. That's why everyone is recommended to step through the first couple of steps to get to the step were you select your Travel party. You can't go past this step until your 7 day or 3 day window opens. It will list the day when each person's ticket entitlement shows they are able to be added to your LLMP and/or LLSP.

That's just it...I did do the step through, and my DH was listed/tapped on and was there with our group. And he has been listed with the correct dates, all along, except for this morning. And for some reason, the app made me re-enter the participants, but he was missing.

And as for completing my order, I thought that those were the only available times. I was stressed by the time I was able to make reservations and wanting to get the rides booked before they went poof! However, it does not make sense that I am unable to change the time now when availability is showing.

Does he happen to have his own MDE Account or is he just managed by you on your MDE Account?

Not quite. You can modify the times, it just wants to add them after your other booked LLMP selections. For your modify attempts are you just clicking to accept the earliest possible time for the new attraction? Try to change the time in the Modify step.

Try it again now when it is unlikely that there will be massive competition for your Park date.

No, my DH is managed by me. He barely knows how to use a cell phone. LOL

The only times showing for the rides that I am seeing is the 9:45am time. I see no other times. How do you modify a new attraction if you cannot even click on it?

This is what MDE is saying when I try to change the attraction to another with an earlier time. The earliest activity that we have is lunch at 11:45.
