Has anyone else had issues with their Disney Store orders?

The last 3 out of 4 orders I have made online at the Disney Store have had shipping issues. I will get the email stating "the label has been created" or "ready for shipment" but it never "ships". I usually wait 10-14 days to contact customer service and they have always been good about sending a replacement. One order had to be re-shipped twice before I finally got it.

Is this a common problem recently or am I just having bad luck???
 
I've ordered recently and this did not happen. There customer service is of course good, but it is tough if you are relying on this as a gift.
 
I know this post is from March but I wanted to add my experience. I had this happen in December around Christmas. I wanted to 2024 shirt to start the new year. Ordered and it said shipped and it made it so far and just stopped for weeks. I contacted Disney through chat and a person, not automated, said it was out of stock but they could refund me. They did and a couple weeks later, it showed up.🤷‍♀️ I chalked it up to Christmas shopping/shipping.

Now on May 20 I placed an order, it said shipped on May 21. All it’s said since this is “USPS awaiting item”. I tried to do chat today and only got automated. I put in for a replacement so we will see what happens.

With their shipping being like this, I’m about to give up on any sales they have and just go with a Disney shopper so I actually get what I want.
 
My husband recently ordered something and the order would go through and then he would receive notification that there was a problem with the card he was using. Turns out it stemmed from an issue with an order from 2021! And the strange thing was he has ordered from the Disney store quite a few times since then and with the same card!
 
Came to update! I did online automated chat and requested a replacement on 6/6 and it said shipped 6/6. As of today both the original order AND Replacement 1 say “USPS Awaiting Item” or whatever. So I did online chat again, asked for a person, spoke to Julian who did another replacement. It’s the DisneyEats lollipop spirit jersey and it was a limited time sale for like $47. I’m NOT giving up until I have that item!

So here’s the stats:
Original order date: 5/20
Ship Date: 5/21
Current Status (as of 6/13): “Pre-Shipment, USPS Awaiting Item”

Replacement 1
Requested: 6/6
Ship Date: 6/6

Let me put it this way, I no longer order anything from them. I don't need the disappointment or aggravation in my life. Product quality, well that's an oxymoron, but I'll say it sucks. Shipping was just as abysmal.

I couldn't agree more with @gottalovepluto's statement. The only thing to add would be the ShopDisney folks looked at the Disney ADR folks and said, "Hold my Beer!"

Contacted them again and this time they wanted to call me. Talked to a very nice person who this time did overnight mail through UPS (all others were USPS).

Well, you guessed it, it didn’t go anywhere either. So that makes 4 spirit jerseys that were packed up and put somewhere and then never left the warehouse/store/whatever.
 
I will say when it comes to their limited edition lightsabres, they are all over that and get them out next day and arrives within the week. My son orders them regularly as well as his friends and they have not had any issues. Maybe it is the price 150 t0 250 each or maybe it is the item themselves or maybe the picker just likes star wars shipments better?? No idea!?!?

I on the otherhand, have ordered stuff and not received it. Once I got a nicely sealed box that had no items in it!

That’s what I’m wondering. I get the “your order has shipped email” and have a tracking number but 4 packages—3 usps and 1 ups never left/got picked up? I would think wherever these are coming from, the mail comes and picks them right? It’s not like Shirley has to take the packages to the post office/ups office and mail them, right?

You might think that with Christmas four months away and with the holiday shopping season beginning in November Disney Store would start getting the orders mailed to people on time and what I think Disney Store is doing is trying to delay previous orders so that new orders can be processed and then focus on the delayed orders. You might also think with people ordering the Halloween/Christmas merchandise that Disney Store recently put out Disney Store would at least get the stuff delivered on time. Because as you know December and the week before Christmas are the busiest times when people buy last minute Christmas gifts and people worry that the items will never arrive in time for Christmas. And why online retailers started advertising delivery before Christmas i'll never figure out because what I see is a lie? And it's not just Disney Store that does this. This also occurs at Amazon a lot and there seems to be no logical answer why Disney Store and Amazon have started doing this habit. My mom and I have ordered stuff from Disney Store a lot and we never witnessed this habit often but I think when ShopDisney became Disney Store their ordering department started going downhill and people started complaining about not recieving their orders or orders cancelled for no reason. If Disney Store were to improve their ordering department people would finally get their orders shipped on time

My issues with this started before the transition to Disney store. It first happened in December 2023 and I thought it was a fluke because of holiday shipping. It wasn’t something I rush shipped or needed before Christmas, just something I saw and wanted. I shrugged it off then. Then when the next time it happened, I gave up. I will only use a personal shopper from now on.
 
I don't know how, but I ordered something on Wednesday night at 11pm and it is "out for delivery" today 36 hours later. Standard (free) shipping...
