Inspired by the friendly and non-heated parking charges threads, I have labored to produce the first greenban POLL of 2007!

Happy New Year!

Graet poll GB. I'm sure this won't cause any controversy.

I'd suggest just giving Disney your credit card number and basing the charge on how many requests you make during your stay. Wouldn't it be fun if the charge wasn't known until you checked out?

Charging for parking isn't fair. SSR guests will park in DTD to avoid the fees.

Feeling naive. . .do they charge for parking at DVC resorts? Or do you mean in the parks?

Are we talking about parking at all DVC resorts. Or just valet?

I can't imagine charging for parking at OKW or SSR.

Quarters are 20, dimes are 10 and nickles are 5 minutes. 2 hour max.

Yea! A greenban poll! 2007 has officially begun...popcorn::

I missed this. DVC wants to charge for parking? Is this at the parks or the resorts or both? Will WDW be charging non-DVC resort guests for parking at their selected resorts?

Since you labored, I voted.

I see I'm hardly alone in my vote. Why should we be charged a parking fee? Aren't our annual dues enough?:confused3

Per pound of vehilcle.

With or without the guests in it?

Asked by a POOH sized guy. (If I had hit that kid instead of Tigger, I'dve knocked his stuffing out!)

There is NO confirmed changes in the parking charges.....

There were unsubstantiated rumors about charging for parking at DVC resorts....and it got into a slightly heated discussion in another thread.

I don't think they could start charging DVC members when we already pay dues that are used to maintain the same parking lots. I haven't read every bit of tiny print in our paperwork, but I would be surprised if it was legal. Even if it is, I think they would be stupid to start doing that....they would definitely cause a big revolt......I definitely would take my dissatisfaction all the way to Jim Lewis.

I did find this in my paperwork:
Club Members, their guests, invitees, lessees, and exchangers do not receive any special access or entry rights to any attraction or recreational facilities located in the Walt Disney World Resort area, other than to those facilities made a part of the Condominium, by virtue of the ownership of an ownership interest.

This tells me that due to our ownership, but DO get special access to the facilities (including parking) at our resorts.
