Grand Floridian Cafe - no reservations after Jan 4 2025?

Keep checking. Usually this is a reservation quirk of the system and in the next couple days to few weeks they will suddenly load.

Although with the GF lobby remodel pending after the holidays there is an actual chance of remodel on this one so I'm not willing to say 100% they'll pop up.

It is very interesting that it is right at the 60 day window for GFC (Jan. 5th). Another odd thing is VA only is showing dates through Jan. 4th.

Looks like a more pervasive issue Kona Cafe and `Ohana at Poly also both stop at Jan. 5th. Looks like Disney has just not added additional dates.

Yes that triggered me to recall the 60 + 10 if you have an active on-site reservation. So back to square 1 since we don't have a a specific answer for GFC today just keep checking or give the ADR line a call at (407) 939-3463 and see if they have more information.

I was going to say the same thing. Unfortunately, we just don’t know. We could only assume the lobby is still going to be renovated, due to the emails that guests with upcoming trips are receiving. However, nothing has been announced by Disney at this time. Might be our first clue that it is happening, if we do not see any restaurant openings before then. Please keep us posted!

Hmm I couldn't get an ADR either, which I thought was maybe they were having a special event. What do the emails say? We are only there for 3 days, leaving Monday 1/6 but did not get an email about any renovations.

I’d been having the same problem but was able to finally make ADRs at Grand Floridian for mid January just today.

I was wondering what was happening! I just switched my ADR today - looks like they are switching from breakfast and lunch to brunch. Which works fine for me as long as they keep the biscuits as bread service. I love breakfast there

i was just popping in to say that maybe it's because the restaurant could really use a refresh. We had our traditional last meal there on November 29th and ugh, they need to do some deep cleaning! We had one of the quaint 2 top tables in the window and those curtains are disgustingly dirty. It wasn't from the last 2 weeks, stains, "crusty bits" and it looks like they've not taken a cloth to the windows in months!!!

i was just popping in to say that maybe it's because the restaurant could really use a refresh. We had our traditional last meal there on November 29th and ugh, they need to do some deep cleaning! We had one of the quaint 2 top tables in the window and those curtains are disgustingly dirty. It wasn't from the last 2 weeks, stains, "crusty bits" and it looks like they've not taken a cloth to the windows in months!!!

You got suckered by the IT glitch that hits many a Disney ADR, they just hadn't loaded in the system. GF Cafe is bookable all the way through mid-Feb.

I am almost certain it was split up to breakfast and lunch until Jan 3 and now it is all merged into Brunch.

I was looking for breakfast around 10:45am so when I noticed the switch to brunch, I changed to 11:15am which is more what I really want.

A bit concerned about a whole menu change but I guess I will roll with it. Biscuits as free bread service really made GFC a huge bang for my back breakfast.

I think you replied to the wrong person ... I didn't have any trouble booking for November, was just commenting on the current state of the cleanliness.

Interesting. We have a Breakfast reservation on January 6 that I booked back on Nov 18, but if I plug in to search for a reservation now, it shows Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner on dates through Jan 5, and Brunch/Dinner starting Jan 6 onward. The menus for Breakfast and Brunch seem about identical though.

Ah, I just thought you thought there was a chance the restaurant was actually going to get a refresh. People keep thinking that whenever restaurants at Disney aren’t available to book. I swear there is a thread on this topic monthly
