Golfing dress code

My family and I want to try golfing on our next visit. We will play Oak trail. It’s 9 holes and Disney recommends it for first timers. The dress code says you have to wear a golf shirt to play.
I was wonder if anyone has golfed there and didn’t wear a golf shirt?

It is a professional golf course, so golf attire will be required. A polo shirt is needed, yes.
