Fun restaurants near Art of Animation?

We will be staying at Art of Animation and will eat at the food court there but we will want to have some sit-down meals too on our non-park days, or before or after parks. I think our best options are Downtown Disney (best way over is Lyft or bus?) or somewhere along the skyliner? We will probably save restaurants at other resorts for other trips, unless they’re along the skyliner. There isn’t a sit-down at Pop is there? Is it worth walking over there for their food court? Is there food anywhere else at these two resorts besides their food courts?

ETA: We’ll be with kids ages 5-16, love highly themed restaurants, characters, views, good drinks, fun, etc.

Pop and AoA both just have quick service. They are near duplicates for menu’s right now.

I like to recommend Topolinos at Riviera resort. Would be good on Epcot morning, as it has a character breakfast and really good food.

beaches and cream is my first thought at BC but there are lots of TS options both in Epcot and at the epcot resorts including swan/dolphin

It's about a 5 minute walk, very close. I went there almost every night in August from Pop for ice cream.

Just an FYI-both Everything Pop and Landscape of Flavors have EXTREMELY limited Menus in Covid World and you will pick up your food from a table and it will be unplated in a box.


This is at Everything Pop-Landscape of Flavors is similar.

Here are 2 Pot Roast Dinners-they are NOT plated inside box-you open your box and there everything sits-ENJOY!lol

Thank you!! That is so interesting. Would you happen to know if they have the pasta bar available at AoA? I have heard great things about it and my kids adore pasta...

No they got rid of the pasta bar where they made pasta fresh with whatever toppings you wanted. My daughter loved it. I actually think they got rid of it precovid. She was very disappointed.

Beaches & Cream is a must very kid friendly. Very easy walk from the sky liner.

Thanks everyone! I think I we are going to try both Beaches & cream and Topolinos if we can get reservations. We might try to get to Disney springs too, if the bus transportation is good.
