Free dining, annual pass and not using included ticket on the trip but later

Is this possible? In particular because the ticket required to qualify for free dining will be added to your automatically. Will it not activate until my AP expires and thus I could technically use it for a trip the following year or even later the same year?

You have to have them prioritize tickets to make sure the AP is used first.

Or get a physical ticket and not enter it into MDE until after you return home.

If it is a UK ticket it will expire at the end of this year (or the year in which your stay is)
