Fort Wilderness Sleigh Ride

Does anyone know when these reservations usually open? Should I just keep checking daily? Thanks!

Normally 60 days in advance and this year they are available Dec. 1 - 30 (excludes Dec. 24th). Should be available in MDE any day now. Have you looked?

ETA: I just checked in MDE and while it says 60 days in advance they are not available for reservations as of today. Maybe soon now that we have survived Hurricane Milton.

Reservations for the regular carriage rides end 28 November, from the 29th on they aren't avilable. So Disney is ready to open the sleigh ride reservations any day now...and that's what I keep telling myself as I wait for Candlight Processional dining...any day now

Yup, it still says: “Holiday sleigh rides are currently unavailable. This seasonal experience is scheduled to return in late 2024—just in time for the holidays.”

I’ll just keep checking daily…any day now!!

For anyone that booked 12/3 but can’t make, and would like to go 12/4.. up for a trade!? I had to make changes to my itinerary last minute. So bummed after all the planning, waiting for reservations to open, actually getting one, and now it’s for the wrong day.. smh

I left the Fort about 2 weeks ago and took this picture at the fence in front of Crockett's Tavern where the Carriage/Sleigh rides begin/end at.





What I take from this is not ALL rides are available for reservation. Some may be held back for "day of" and others may be held for "walk up". The Carriage Rides change their name (and their buggy) to a Sleigh Ride during the holiday season but the rules, concepts, and routes are the same.

I show this to say 'Keep Trying' and if you have the time, go over (early in the evening) and see if you can get on the walk-up list for later that same night.
