For Rent or Transfer; 132 Riviera points $20pp & 7 Grand Floridian Points $17pp

EDIT 3/15/25: Due to nonpayment for a held reservation, I have cancelled and released those points.

We have 132 Riviera points at $20 per point and 7 Grand Floridian points at $19 per point.
Of the 132 Riviera points, 91 must be used by November 30th 2025, meaning check out of the reservation must be by 11/30, the remainder of 41 points can be banked and used for a later reservation.

The Grand Floridian must be used by November 30th 2025. They are banked points. Ideally, I'd transfer these BUT if someone wants
a one day reservation between now and 11/30, borrowing is an option. The 7 will be at $17, any points added to make a one day reservation would be at $19

Both have a December UY and our Grand Floridian points cannot be used at the Riviera at all while our Riviera points can be used at Grand Floridian (and elsewhere) following the 7 month rules.


Price per point for Grand Floridian $19
Price per point for Riviera $20

Prices are the same for a reservation or transfer to another DVC member. All reservations will receive confirmation at the time of the reservation and at any point afterward when the renter requests it.

Any reservation requiring points to be banked/borrowed requires full prepayment. Other reservations will be made and held open for 48 hours pending either a nonrefundable deposit or payment in full.

Reservations require the names of all guests, ages of those under 18, an email address and a phone number.

Hi, I'm new here. Does Dec UY mean the expire on Dec 31st, 2025 or Jan 1st, 2026?
I am using an availability tool and seeing Riviera 1BR from Dec 12-15 for 119 pts. Thank you.

Hi. UY refers to the Use Year. The simplest way to describe it is the month in which Disney allocates the points, for the coming year. For reservations it can matter as some points can't be used in some years, like banked points from last year can't be used next year.

I am looking to do a 6 night stay total. I would be open to other resorts for a split stay if needed. All 6 nights at Riviera would work as well. Any suggestions?

Which 6 nights? You only mentioned the dates 12/12 through 12/15 which you can see above, means 3 nights and checking out by 11am on the 15th. I am drafting up a rental agreement for future rental contracts, but the Cliff notes version is that for a reservation at the end of the year and past my banking deadline it needs to be prepaid and is non refundable. I would strongly urge you once the agreement is signed, to buy trip protection to cover your expenses.

This charts shows the December rate, per night for a 1 bedroom with a resort view. The lowest 6 night option is 217 points, 14th through the 19th checking out the 20th.

I can, by borrowing points from next year. It isn't ideal but given my wife's MBA courses are going to be changing our vacation schedule for the next 2-3 years, better to rent than lose them.

You may want to rent from someone who has the points available without borrowing, reason being, if I borrow, then I need at least the amount for the borrowed points upfront, before booking the reservation. Simply because the act of borrowing is permanent. It cannot be unwound, for any reason.

I cannot provide verification prior to that payment because without that payment, I'm not taking the step of borrowing the points.

A Riviera 1 Bedroom Villa - Resort View is available for the three nights of checking in the 12th and checking out the morning of the 15th. It amounts to 119 points. Two separate reservations isn't an issue for the resort, if the room type is different, you'll be changing rooms but if the room type is identical on both reservations, then the resort can make it so you stay in the same room. Once you have both reservations, a call to Disney can arrange it.

I believe you can set up the Disney account beforehand and once you have a reservation number, add it to your profile.
