Hi All,

I had the opportunity to eat at Flo's in Cars Land last week for dinner during my trip. I was very impressed by the overall decor. Take a look at any of the pics online to see what it looks like. There's a real 50's diner vibe here.

The food selection is very unique, and offers something wholesome and different. You get the option of 4 different types of meats with gravy and the choice of two sides. This is very classic diner food: turkey, roast beef, cole slaw, mashed potatoes, corn, veggies, etc. You also get a dinner role with your order.

I found the food to be a really refreshing change of pace. With so many counter service options at DLR, you don't see a ton of balanced meals in these parks. Flo's offers a little flavor of home cooking, and reminds me a lot of 50's Prime Time Cafe in DHS, but as a counter service option.

While the quality of food isn't super high, it's terrific as a counter service option. If you're looking for a change of pace and for a well-balanced meal, check out Flo's.

Thanks for your review. :) I ate lunch there last month, and also really enjoyed it. What did you have to eat?

We ate dinner here earlier in the week and loved it! DD had the pork, I had the turkey. The dinner roll was super yummy and the beans and mashed potatos were tasty!

We are looking forward to checking it out for just those reasons.

We recently ate there and give it a two thumbs up! We thought the food was outstanding. Had the pork, mashed taters w/beef gravy and cole slaw. LOVED the slaw! The pork was tender and the sauce was wonderful. Taters were smooth and creamy. And I'll say it again - LOVED the slaw!

DD had the beef sandwich kids meal. Lots of food on the plate - sandwich (a dinner roll filled with meat, no sauce), apples, grapes, peas & carrots, and I forgot what else. It would even be a good option for an adult with a moderate appetite. My sister & I split our dinner, and it was more than enough for both of us.

And the choco shake was downright yummy! I want another one of those!

Thanks for the review :goodvibes
Im excited to check it out at the end of August

I had the pork, which was fantastic. DH had the roast beef, which he called all right. DS had Mac and Cheese, which he called yummy. Both pies were fantastic as well. My son and I preferred the chocolate while DH preferred the apple/cheese. The Coca-Cola Barbeque sauce was quite tasty. Even though I am a Pepsi fan, I enjoyed it very much.

Guess they do meat right.

They sure don't, as far as DS and I are concerned, do the vegetarian meal right!

We had the veggie tater mash, and it was seriously nasty. We weren't all that hungry but needed something, and we were sharing. This is a last-minute, unbudgeted, trip, and this wasn't a time when I could just buy something else. We had to eat this, and it sounded good.

I took a bite and it was soooo bad. As DS had a bite I could see he felt the same. But it was dinner, so we had to do it. I dumped a packet of salt on it (we aren't big-time salt people), and I think a total of 3 packets of mustard were also used. Just to make it palatable.

:(

The peas from the peas and carrots side, however, were tasty. Once I put a little salt on them. The carrots, though, were undercooked and far too crunchy for cooked carrots.

We were extremely disappointed! (not, however, disappointed enough to complain and ask for something else or a refund, especially since there is NOTHING else for vegetarians there...it was late, we needed *something*, and it was something)

Wow, our experiences are totally different. I had the veggie tater mash back on June 11, and thought it was better than the roast beef meal by far. I really enjoyed it, and thought it to be flavorful. I hope that the day you were there was just a fluke, Molly, and sorry they didn't have a better prepared meal for you.

I agree with the undercooked carrots part, but the rest of the food we had was good. We had 2 turkeys and 1 pork meal. Very good and filling.

oooooh thanks for the review! Excited to eat here! i MUST have that salted caramel brioche french toast and I am in serious NEED for eating one of those mudpies and maybe the apple cheese too! YUM!!!
