Does anyone know if the First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre in Tinley Park, IL lawn tickets are all just general admission?

I'm looking at tickets there and some of them say Lawn Row GA and some say things like Lawn Row L2 or L4. I would think all lawn tickets would be general admission, but I've never been there, so I really don't know.

Thanks for any information!

Moved from that area a little over 2 years ago and have been to many concerts there. Have no idea why there would be anything specifying rows in the lawn area. It is just one big lawn and is general seating. We never bought those tickets for that area, but I would be really puzzled as to how they could specify where on the lawn you would have to sit.

If you dare to sit. :) Every concert we went to everyone was standing.

My DD goes to concerts there quite a bit. There are lawn tickets that are general ad but they also sell lawn seats that are assigned.

Thank you both! So, if some are assigned, do you think it would be worth while to pay a little extra for the assigned seats?

My HS graduation was there and I've been to tons of concerts there though none in the last year.

There is the pavilion which is assigned seating. I've never known the lawn to be assigned seating. Even though they are called "lawn seats" I've never know there to be an actual seat.

Is their lawn 2 sections? That could be Comfort Dental in Denver that I'm thinking of where they is a walkway that splits the lawn into an upper and lower section.

If pavilion seating v lawn is an option I would pay for pavilion seating.

Interesting. Been to many concerts there, both with pavillion seating and lawn seats. Anytime I've had lawn seats, they were NOT assigned and I was never aware of any assigned lawn seats. Is this on Ticketmaster that you are seeing these options?

No, it's on stubhub for tickets to one direction next summer.

i looked up the show on live nation because like some of the other posters I never knew then to have any sort of reserved lawn seating or to sell the lawn in sections.

Here is what was sold for One Direction

Second Pavilion Seating
US $39.50 - US $89.50
US $39.50 Ticket + US $12.35 Fees =
US $51.85
US $89.50 Ticket + US $16.70 Fees =
US $106.20

First Pavilion Seating
US $39.50 - US $89.50
US $39.50 Ticket + US $12.35 Fees =
US $51.85
US $89.50 Ticket + US $16.70 Fees =
US $106.20

General Admission Lawn
US $29.00
US $29.00 Ticket + US $9.00 Fees =
US $38.00

This image matches the interactive seating chart shown on Live Nation's site for the One Direction shows.

The 1st Pavilion would be the 100 level seats, the 2nd Pavilion are the 200 level seats.

Lawn is GA.

I've sat in their lawn section, a lot. If you want to see anything other than screens I'd buy pavilion seating.

ETA - OP I looked at what you are talking about. It is confusing and weird. I have 2 people that I can ask. This is fascinating.

Radio Nate - I had my HS Graduation there as well - I went to Sandburg! Are you still in the area?

I am back in the area. I moved to & from a few other states but came back year awhile ago.

I went to Marian.

Just thought I'd follow up with everyone. I had emailed stubhub a day or two ago and got this response this morning:

We appreciate your interest in purchasing your tickets through StubHub.
Lawn seats will all be general admission. Some sellers will list row and
seat numbers with their tickets so they can keep track of their ticket
inventory.

So, I guess even though there is a row and seat number listed, it really doesn't mean anything to the buyer, only to the seller.

Kind of strange if you ask me, but at least now I know for sure.

I wish I could get the pavilion seats, but at the prices they're asking, we're just going to have to settle for the lawn. :thumbsup2

Thanks for all the help everyone!

Bloom graduate 1975. Lived in Glenwood until I married. :cool1:

I live a few miles from there, too. Grew up in Lemont but I live in TP now.

I suspect this calls for a Disboards south burbs meet up.

OP - I'm glad you got it figured out. It was very confusing but like I said we have never seen the lawn be anything but GA.

Hope you DD likes the show.
