I decided to post this here, in hopes that some of you that stay at deluxe resorts, can speak from past experience.

Our next trip is March 2025 and we are staying at Bay Lake Tower. We have never stayed in a deluxe resort in recent days to take advantage of extra evening hours. I’m trying very hard to plan our trip but it’s hard when I don’t know when the extended evening hours are. So my question is…..

Are the extended evening hours different every year or are they the same every year. If they are the same, and if anyone reading this has gone in March, can you please share with me when the extra evening hours are.

If nobody has an answer to my question then I have another question…..

When will I be able to find out when the extra evening hours are for March 9 through March 15 of 2025?

Thank you for your help🙂

For the most part Epcot is Monday and Magic Kingdom is Wednesday. There are some changes, but usually just if there is something else going on (parties usually I think). We went in March of 2022 and 2024 and both times these were the days.

Agree with the above. We went Sept 2023 and Aug/sept 2024 and Epcot was Mindy and MK was Wed.

We were there similar March dates, 2024, and extended hours were Monday-Epcot, and Wednesday-MK....but that could change.I think Disney hours are posted about 70 days out??? 8-10 weeks? like today, I can see hours out until Jan 18, 2025.
For our Oct trip, I'd check daily to see when days/hours were added....it was party season, so I was expecting MK to be replaced by HS, like it was in 2023....however, it was not. We got extended hours at AK on Thursday, no extended MK or HS the week we were there, Epcot-Monday, but that was party season, which changes things.
Also, noticed in Oct, they added an hour to opening times at MK for one of our days, so they might do that for a busy spring break time, I didn't notice the change until the week before, but not sure when it changed.
Happy planning!!!

Here’s the hours for March 2024 it shows the eeh days: https://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/hours/march2024.cfm
Doesn’t mean it will be the same next year. So far hours have been released up to mid-January, so March hours will likely start appearing in January.
Thank you for your reply and posting that link 🙂

Thank you for your reply 🙂 and I have a question….how long were the extended evening hours in March? How many hours after the park closes for everyone else?

Thank you for your reply 🙂 and I’ll ask you the same question I asked above - How long are the extra evening hours? I’m also wanting us to do The Key to the Kingdom Tour so I’m trying to juggle when to do what, pending I get the tour on the date I want. I’m really wanting to do the tour on Wednesday, which would work out well with the extra hours. So. Much. To. Think. About! :faint:

EEH is always 2 hours long and the schedule is always MK on Wednesdays and Epcot on Mondays, aside from the thick of party season mid-Sept through December when they switch the MK offering over to another park bc it’s shutting down early so much for parties.

Those 2 hours can fly by as well so you will definitely want to be smart about it. At MK, start in Adventureland to let the day crowds thin out elsewhere—the E ticket coasters on the right side of the park will all have long waits at the beginning of EEH because of day guests jumping in line right before park close. Epcot EEH is basically just another ride on Cosmic Rewind to me.

Hours were 2 hours. You usually can get quite a bit done, depending on how long rides take in general. Right when they started, severl rides still had kinda long lines/regular park guests cycling through, like Space Mtn.
DH did the KotK tour on our last trip in Oct. He enjoyed it.
I know how it is to be waiting and waiting for their hours to post. This last Oct trip, we only had 2 days of Disney tickets, and I needed those hours to plan which days....which affected which day we'd do HHN at Universal, etc. etc. Good luck with it all!!

Hello all! I have a follow up question. Do you have to be staying in a deluxe resort the night of the EEH or, like other benefits, does staying the night before and checking out the day of EEH also qualify? Anyone know?

You can attend on the evening of checkout day - you’re considered a resort guest until the last park closes that day. Enjoy!

Extra Evening Hours January 29, 2025 is listed for Animal Kingdom, not Magic Kingdom! FYI

And Monday Feb 3 2025 is also AK not Epcot! This is going to mess up my plans for later in the month if this is the new schedule. Is there another thread discussing this?

These dates have just been released, so we just have to wait until more are released.

Very true! I'm staying at a Deluxe just because I want to do an Epcot extra evening and it's a waste of money to me if I can't.
I'm going to book a backup reservation at a value while the spring discount is still available and cancel one or the other when my trip get's close and I see the hours.

I am hoping that Cosmic Rewind will be standby in 2025. Would improve the extra evening hours a lot
