Eurostar - standard premier

Morning everyone!

I was just wondering if anyone has been on the Eurostar as Standard Premier passengers? I've never been on the Eurostar full stop, but booked standard premier for a little more leg room and food/drink. Could anyone who has been let me have some more details on what it's like generally and what/how much food do they supply you with? I don't want to be really hungry in the morning after leaving home at 6am and only being given a yoghurt on the train!

Not sure if they supply hot meals with Standard Premier, they used to but I think it has changed to a bagette. I'm sure that is what my friend whose husband works for them said. I will check.

Last time we went, few years ago now, we went one way standard and return was sp. the return was lovely as had more space, table and meal was good and included drinks.
This time, disney had offer to do trip in sp and I noticed the food/drink still included. As we've little person on our lap, we're glad of extra space. Interested to hear any more about current food included too.

Currently in Standard premier on Eurostar , if a morning train you will get, tea / coffee, croissants, pain au chocolat etc. No hot food is served in standard premier any more, only in business first. Likewise the previous unlimited wine / chamapagne is now replaced by a one quarter bottle of wine each (you can get more if you're lucky enough to have friendly crew !!)
The seating is 2 + 1 in the same style as business first.

This is from a couple of years ago and I still remember how I hated having a COLD croissant!

If I remember correctly they only come round with tea/coffee/chocolate once - I guess if you want more you'll have to buy it.

Thanks for this, I have also booked the standard premier. This looks great, any food it a good start, last time I was on the Eurostar, Hubby and I took our own little picnic.

Does anyone know if there is a separate lounge from the main waiting area?

We have only ever travelled in this class as thats where the wheelchair places are, food is ok, nothing to shout about. Most of the times we have been the carriage has been empty, literally just us in there!

We went Standard Premier last week. Food on the way out was: Croissant, Pain-au-chocolate, bread roll and a muesli pot. Drinks were tea, coffee, water or orange juice. On the way home its was a cheese board or beef with apple tart for dessert. Drinks were the same plus beer & wine. We got on at Ebbsfleet and there wasn't a separate lounge there, nor at Marne-la-Vallee.
