I read WDW moved Leave a Legacy from the front of EPCOT to somewhere else .
Where to ?

When they do get rid of them I don't imagine they'll be moved anywhere else but be destroyed

They cannot totally get rid of them until the customers contract runs out, I cannot remember if it's 2022 or 2027. But they can move them somewhere else without voiding the contract.

Definitely still there. This past we looked for and found my DH's aunt and uncle and cousins on it.

That plaza was so nice before they put the mausoleum in there. I was gifted a spot but never used it because it's so awful.

Our contract says 75 years

Maybe the photos moved to one large wall

Do you still have the agreement? Below are a couple of stipulations from the application agreement. Maybe there was more than one time span. I've contacted the "Leave a Legacy" department regarding the agreement's length and waiting for a response.

"As the WALT DISNEY WORLD(R) resort is ever-changing, the Guest agrees that the Image and Image Location may be replaced or relocated within the WALT DISNEY WORLD(R) Resort and that if the Image is relocated, it may be displayed in a different manner on a different medium than that present at the original Image Location. Access to the Image Location may be restricted or temporarily closed without liability to the Guest."

"that the image and/or sculpture may be replaced or relocated within Walt Disney World at any time, and that the image may be permanently removed on or after the twentieth anniversary of its installation."

My DH and I are on the wall from our honeymoon in 2002...my kids still go to look at our picture every time they are there...it is a bit creepy but also a nice memory of our Disney honeymoon! I am definitely interested in where they will relocate them. I don't mind the Epcot entrance getting a facelift though!

I see nothing creepy about the monoliths depicting photos of happy memories.

We visit my daughter’s adorable photo of her 7 year-old self wearing Mickey ears and holding Chip & Dale in her arms. She was so happy that day. On every visit since then we go back and take a photo of her with her picture. It has become a happy tradition.

She is 20 now and I hope that they will still be there in July for one last photo. There will definitely be tears.

Given it’s an older thread, the title is misleading, and there’s another thread going on right now about Leave a Legacy, closing this one.
