Closed on my first resale contract a couple weeks ago and today I got an email with an activation ID but to log into the DVC website it says I also need a club ID? Is this a separate email from Disney I wait for? Thanks in advance
Yep it comes in a separate email. Once you're able to log in, you also won't see points right away - they say it takes a few days but some have had success asking for points to be loaded via chat - usually 1-2 days later.

This happened to me a few months ago - I never did receive the second email. I waited a couple days, but finally just called my guide and she emailed me both codes immediately.
We also had an issue when we bought our resale contract. Received email 1 but email 2 with member ID never came. Ended up having to call MA and get the info after verifying all of my personal info.
