El pollo loco green sauce??????

update: i guess its cilantro dressing. If anyone has a good recipe please post. I hate trying recipes that havent been tested and I know people here will give their honest opinion.

Went to easter potluck and someone brought el pollo loco chicken, salad and green sauce that was used as a dressing. The green sauce was soooo yummy!!!! Does anyone have a recipefor it and a recipe they've actually tried?? I did a search but would like a recipe that had been tried and confirmed it's like El pollo loco. thanks

Top Secret Recipes version of EL Pollo Loco Creamy Cilantro Dressing

1 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup whole milk
4 teaspoons finely minced cilantro
2 teaspoons lime juice
1 teaspoon white wine vinegar
1 teaspoon granulated sugar
1 teaspoon finely minced garlic
1 teaspoon finely minced onion
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/8 teaspoon ground cumin

Whisk together all ingredients in a medium bowl. Cover and chill.

Makes 1 1/4 cups.

Topper-Cayenne pepper isnt that real spicey. I dont remember the dressing being spicey.

mjkacmom-red crushed pepper. I didnt see any red crushed peper in the sauce

I told a co-worker and one of hem called it an avocado sauce????


any el pollo loco workers out there?????
