DVC Room - Guest Access Questions

Staying at the resort with my DVC points - I am the Lead Guest, I believe. This is the first time I'll have a non-family member as a room guest too. My booking reservation keeps reminding me to add them as a Friend and Family etc. While I obviously want them to have their own app/magic band access to the room and early entry benefit, is there anything I need to do to assure they cannot buy souvenirs or pay for meals on "my" credit card that is linked to the room? And assure they cannot change/cancel our reservation? I'll call and discuss with Guest Services too, but figure it would help if I have some real world input first. Thanks! (P.S. I mention they are non-family, but some of that would apply to kids too now that I think about it lol)

For our previous stays, in the MDE app I was able set a pin number for our hotel room, and my kid had to know it to make charges back to our room.

MDE app menu > Account/Profile >Payment Method > Disney Resort Hotel Guests > Set Room Account Pin

Have them put down their own credit card for their account (they will have to stop at the FD). Or, don't allow charging privileges. I believe you can manage that in the MDE app.

We just got back 2 weeks ago, I had to enter my PIN number for everything I charged to the room, so just don’t share your pin & your guest won’t be able to charge things to your room account.
We also picked up a room card at the FD to use to open the door for a member of our party who didn’t have a MB so she wouldn’t have to fiddle w/ the app on her phone whenever she wanted in the room.
I am curious about how to set up charging for guests though, I’ll be hosting a larger group next fall & expect my sister & my niece would both like to set up their own accounts/charging. Last time I tried to do that - over a decade ago - it didn’t work & the charges were all muddled together .
