Dreams Unlimited Travel Agent Question

I started using Dreams Unlimited last year and LOVE my travel agent--Elaine Edwards. I'm traveling concierge and was wondering if she will book my excursions/requests for me at the 130 day mark? I trust her more than myself to get the job done on time! :) Thanks!

My experience with my dreams unlimited travel agent in booking concierge is that they USED to be able to book things at the 130 day mark, but now (and for at least the past year) can NOT (i.e. we are on our own lol). They can guide you through the process, but at the end of the day (literally, midnight) it's up to you to initiate the process. BTW, I confirmed this directly with DCL.

For those of us who have been accused of over planning, its not that bad of a thing lol.

Since you are concierge, the activities bookings (excursions, dining, tastings, etc.) are done via email to the shoreside concierge team. It's not done directly online. You have time in advance to work on your email request of what you'd like booked, then set it to send at midnight.

You should be able to email the concierge team as soon as check in opens. People will draft emails and send them right at the clock hits midnight to try and be first in the queue. I'm sure Elaine could help you write this up, then the concierge team would actually book everything.

Btw, the shoreside concierge team will email you 5 days in advance explaining the process, it will also include links to the type of things you can book. However the timing of those things, like some of the add on dining experiences and the various drink tastings can vary so you can’t get too specific on timing. I give them a rough idea on what day would be optimal and they do the best they can do. You won’t find out what and when things were booked until the normal booking window for your level opens up. But I find if I log on to the website the first day of the normal booking window there are plenty of time slots available to let me fine tune my plans. The major reason you want to mail in advance to the concierge team is the cabana. That will be gone quickly.

You can contact Shoreside ahead of the 130-day mark to ask for specific times for tastings, etc. I've done that and so been able to ask for the exact sessions I want (and know it won't conflict with something else I have).

Also, you will find out what you got when Pearl booking window opens, regardless of your Castaway Club level.
