Does anyone use a good smelling hair spray?

I am looking for a new hair spray. Are there any out there that actually smell good, maybe a citrus smell or something not so chemical smelling?

I just started using a Pantene volumizing aerosol that smells fruity/pleasant. It is not strong, but nice. My husband even commented on it.

I have tried many more expensive hairsprays (Aveda, Big Sexy, Paul Mitchell) and got very frustrated by both the price and the effectiveness. Seems like they never held my hair in place or gave me helmet head. So far so good (three weeks) on this new product. All for about $5 at Target.

I use Aussie and pay under $3 a can. I really like that it's got great hold without feeling crusty and smells good.

I've use Aussie before. The scent is better than most. I'll have to try the others. Too bad they don't put scratch and sniff stickers on the cans :D. Thanks.

Funny, I heard from an old boyfriend recently (from 25 years ago!) One of the things he asked me is if I still used the same hair products because he loved the smell. It was Aussie of course, and smelled like grape.

Now I use Paul Mitchell and that reminds me of watermelon.

I use Dove non-aerosol hair spray and DH says it smells like pineapple. I like that it isn't super sticky or stifff.

Marc Anthony Oil of Morocco Hair Spray. My husband can't STAND most hair/face products, but this is a scent he finds very pleasant. My DD is the one who discovered this stuff. Available at Alta. Around $9.

My favorite is Biolage brand by Matrix. It's on the expensive side at around $15 for a good size aerosol can, but you can use Ulta coupons on it. I like the Freeze Fix Blue Agave hairspray. Not only do I think it smells good, but it holds really well and doesn't make your hair look greasy or crunchy. I put my hair back in a ponytail a lot and cover my head in this stuff and you can't even tell I have any in!

Aussie Instant Freeze. I have gotten more compliments on the scent of that than any perfume I've ever bought.

I went to the store to find some of these to try. I couldn't find some of them but that gal at the store suggested Mark Anthony Oil of Morocco. It really doesn't have a scent at all, just a light powdery scent but that dissipates quickly. I LOVE it. It's been very windy the past few days and while my hair moves around, it easily goes back in place. It doesn't feel like I have hair spray on at all!

I know everyone was waiting for that update :lmao:

I also use Pantene, but non-aerosol. Also a light "fruit" smell. I've used Aussie in the past, but found it a little too strong of a smell for my tastes.

I use Kenra medium hold and Garnier flexible hold (not at the same time).
